The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is going to be leading the charge against Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) during the week of November 16-20.
As B&B viewers know, Liam has been squawking about how Thomas hasn’t really changed his ways for some time now, and he’s really gotten fired up within the past few episodes.
Liam has been running to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and sounding the alarm about Thomas since he discovered the mannequin in Thomas’ apartment, but it doesn’t seem to be doing much good.
Everyone seems to buy Thomas’ story that he’s using the mannequin for design inspiration.
But in reality, B&B viewers know that Thomas is using the mannequin for company. Thomas recently started conversing with the mannequin, telling her that he’s lonely and that it’s nice to have some company around the apartment.
This is not typical behavior, and given that Thomas is “hearing” the mannequin talk and give him orders, something very serious is going on here.
It’s pretty clear at this point that Thomas is suffering from a serious mental illness. And something tells us that once Finn gets an inkling that Thomas may be suffering from a mental illness, he’ll act pretty quickly.
Since Finn’s a physician, he’ll want to see to it that Thomas gets treatment for what’s ailing him, just as if it were another type of illness like diabetes or cancer.
But something tells us that if Finn does start to investigate the situation with Thomas, Liam probably won’t be too happy about it.
In fact, given how Liam thinks that Thomas manipulates everyone around him, Liam will probably think that Thomas is trying to fake his mental illness, perhaps in order to get sympathy from Hope or to somehow excuse his past actions.
We could see Liam and Finn on opposite sides when it comes to the prospect of Thomas having a mental illness. Liam might assert that Thomas is somehow fooling Finn and stringing him along, even using him to fake a diagnosis. Liam might find himself infuriated with the whole situation.
Of course, B&B viewers know that Thomas really does have a serious mental disorder. But how long will it take Liam to finally accept that and not think that Thomas is faking the whole thing?
Time will tell, but it seems likely that Liam will be pretty frustrated in the short-term, especially if Finn gets on board to help Thomas.
We’ll see what happens here, but Liam and Finn could remain at odds for a while over the issue of Thomas. Do you expect to see Liam lash out as Finn tries to help Thomas?
