The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Friday, January 3, tease that Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) will have a run-in with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). As B&B viewers know, Thomas is still very much obsessed with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). He has finagled it so that he can be with her during working hours at Forrester Creations as the two of them work on Hope’s line for the upcoming fashion showdown.
Of course, he managed to get Hope to agree to work with him by convincing her that he’s moved on romantically with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). He and Zoe are now an official item – they’ve spent the night together and Thomas was sure to invite her to the Forrester Christmas dinner so that everyone would see them together. The plan seemed to work as far as Hope’s concerned.
Of course, right now nobody else but Thomas’ friend Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) knows about his little plan to play hard to get in order to get close to Hope. But that’s about to change, and Shauna and Thomas are about to have a little talk. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Thomas will reveal his ongoing desire for Hope to Shauna.
Exactly how this will come about remains to be seen, but Thomas has certainly tracked down Shauna before, and he may do so again. As B&B viewers will remember, he’s cornered Shauna on more than one occasion and has strongly suggested that she aggressively pursue Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Perhaps they’ll bump into each other at the Forrester mansion, but at any rate they’ll have a pretty revealing conversation.
We’ll see if Thomas intentionally tells Shauna about his plot to win Hope, or if she overhears something that leads her to catch on, but at any rate she’ll find out about it, and B&B spoilers say that Thomas will urge her to keep quiet about the plan.
That will put her in an awkward position, since she probably doesn’t want to keep anything from Ridge. She really seems to care about Ridge and wouldn’t want to risk her friendship (or more) with him.
But Thomas will urge Shauna to stay quiet and keep pursuing Ridge. Of course, Thomas wants Ridge and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) to go ahead with their divorce, so he’ll really want Shauna to step up and keep going after his dad.
That way, he can work toward getting Hope while ensuring that Brooke and Ridge split up, which are two of his big goals right now.
Next, on the new episode of B&B on Friday, January 3, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will make a disappointing discovery. As B&B viewers know, he and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) preciously recruited Zoe to spy on Thomas, so they could find out his true intentions where Hope is concerned.
Zoe was supposed to stay objective and find out whether Thomas was still obsessed with Hope.
But since then, a lot has happened. Thomas and Zoe made love, and then Thomas further showed Zoe how much she meant to him by inviting her to the Forrester Christmas dinner. Well, it seems that Liam might regroup with Zoe, as B&B spoilers say that he’ll learn that Zoe has been successfully manipulated by Thomas.
Perhaps Zoe will report back that Thomas is definitely over Hope – at any rate, it seems that she’ll be completely convinced that Thomas no longer poses a threat to Hope and that he’s totally over his obsession.
But it doesn’t look like Liam will be convinced of this. After all, his gut tells him that Thomas is up to something, and he’s learned to trust his gut when it comes to Thomas.
So it seems that Liam will conclude instead that Thomas has manipulated Zoe into buying his ruse hook, line, and sinker. And that will likely leave Liam frustrated and wondering what his next move will be, since Zoe seemed to be his last bastion of hope for uncovering Thomas’ true intentions.
