The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Henry Joseph Samiri Gets Fan Support After Daytime Emmy Snub – B&B’s Douglas Deserved Nomination

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations are out, but one CBS soap star was snubbed in many fans’ eyes. In the category of Outstanding Younger Performer in a Drama Series, Henry Joseph Samiri wasn’t recognized for his work as Douglas Forrester.

Samiri did a fantastic job bringing Douglas to life in 2019 and was part of some major storylines. The young actor impressed viewers as Douglas became the hero of the Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) reveal.

Samiri also had some gripping scenes as Douglas endured Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) abuse and manipulation. There were plenty of touching scenes with Annika Noelle (Hope Logan) that were worthy of a Daytime Emmy nom, too. Samiri has blown fans away ever since his debut, so it was a shame that his talent wasn’t acknowledged.

On Twitter, many Bold and the Beautiful watchers decided to speak out about their disappointment. “Henry Joseph Samiri/Douglas Forrester was robbed tbh,” one B&B fan said. “He stole every scene during the Baby Beth reveal.” Another viewer insisted she was “shocked that Matthew and Henry didn’t get nominated!”

“I do think Henry Samiri (Douglas on #BoldandBeautiful) should’ve been nominated for younger actor,” one more fan tweeted. A different Twitter user argued that Samiri was this year’s most snubbed actor, so there are definitely some irritated viewers on social media!

When we’ve seen Samiri deliver moving performances at such a young age, it’s a bummer not to see his name on the nom list.

On the bright side, other Bold and the Beautiful stars scored nominations, so B&B still has a chance at some big victories. Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester) was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. In the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Forrester) and Heather Tom (Katie Logan) were given recognition.

Annika Noelle (Hope Logan) got her own Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama series nom, so The Bold and the Beautiful has some strong offerings in the acting categories.

Still, it would’ve been nice to see Henry Joseph Samiri get some Daytime Emmy love. There’s always next year, so we’ll keep rooting for Samiri. This little actor’s got a bright future ahead of him!

As other B&B updates emerge, we’ll pass along the latest news. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say some story bombshells should be brewing once B&B’s back in production. CDL will be sure to keep you in the loop on any hot Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, news and updates.
