The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the writing’s on the wall when it comes to major trouble in Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) marriage. It’s also easy to see the potential for Hope and Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) legitimate romance – or a least Thomas’ revived obsession.
However, B&B has done the “Thomas is fixated on Hope” angle to death, so we’d like to think they’d do something different this time. It would indeed be different if Hope fell for Thomas right back!
The Bold and the Beautiful fans know Hope and Thomas are getting along great these days, especially when Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) is involved. If there’s one thing that Thomas and Hope can agree on, it’s that they want to be the best co-parents possible.
Even so, there must be part of Thomas that’d like to have another shot at what he originally wanted – and that was a united family with Hope. At this point, Thomas is mostly on the outside of the “Lope” family looking in. Deep down, Thomas would surely still prefer a “Thope” fam.
Is there still a chance Thomas’ old dream could come true? The Bold and the Beautiful always emphasizes the mother angle when it comes to Hope and her involvement here. Thomas is consistently impressed by the love Hope has for Douglas, so that’s something B&B writers might build on for a new storyline.
Since Liam and Hope will be on the rocks this fall and Thomas’ old feelings will resurface, there’s the potential for Hope to cheat with Thomas. Naturally, that means there’ll be the potential for Hope to get pregnant by Thomas, too.
If Hope wound up expecting Thomas’ baby after a betrayal, there’d be no better way to blow up “Lope” and push Hope in Thomas’ direction.
Hope was freaked out about getting pregnant again due to her previous miscarriage and what she believed was the loss of Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez), so there could be some lingering fears despite getting Beth back. Of course, the worst part would be getting pregnant by the man Hope’s not married to!
Would Hope lie and try to pass the baby off as Liam’s? Could B&B set up some paternity test drama? Many B&B viewers would like to see a few more scandals on the show, so having Hope get pregnant after a Thomas hookup would set up some excitement.
It could also lead to Douglas and Beth getting a new little brother or sister, so it’s an intriguing option to mull over.
