The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is pregnant, so we might as well start thinking about the looming gender reveal. Will Steffy have a boy or a girl? There are some good reasons to think Steffy might have a son this time around.
Let’s talk about the possibility that Steffy will have a baby boy this time around. It could actually make a difference in terms of the story.
If Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) gets a little brother, will he belong to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) or Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton)? B&B writers will have to make some big decisions about where to take this storyline in the months ahead.
The Bold and the Beautiful seems poised to switch things up by offering a baby boy for this hot plot. Steffy gave birth to a girl – and that was followed by Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) giving birth to Liam’s daughter, too.
If Steffy’s latest baby is Liam’s, it seems like he’ll almost certainly get a son. B&B could use a boy to carry on the Spencer name and flip-flopping legacy!
However, Finn could just easily be the father here and get a son to carry on the Finnegan name as well. The main thing here is that B&B could use a boy to balance things out.
As far as kids go on canvas, we’ve got Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), Kelly and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez). Boy, girl, girl, boy… That sounds like a reasonable way to go.
Soaps tend to mix it up when it comes to gender reveals, so it seems like a no-brainer to make Steffy’s new bundle of joy a boy. It’s just a matter of whether that son will be a half-brother or full brother to Kelly.
Are you hoping Steffy’s next child belongs to Finn or Liam? Which do you think would make a better story direction?
