The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Shauna Fulton’s (Denise Richards) feelings for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) won’t go away anytime soon. Although Shauna might fall for someone else down the road, she definitely fell hard for Ridge and will likely be dwelling on the loss of this relationship for a while.
Does Shauna still have a chance at a future with Ridge? It certainly can’t be ruled out considering there were true sparks between Ridge and Shauna at one point.
We also know Brooke and Ridge don’t have a great track record when it comes to sticking together. It seems like Ridge and Brooke always find something to fight about, so that trend’s probably going to continue sooner or later.
That’s especially true since Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) may be out for revenge on Brooke in the near future. Quinn could easily do something to drive Brooke and Ridge apart, but they’ll surely spar on their own no matter what.
Whether it’s Shauna, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Bill Spencer (Don Diamont)… Some source of contention is always waiting at the end of their happy reunion periods.
B&B fans know Shauna battled guilt when she was scheming with Quinn. The show’s been careful to show Shauna as someone who genuinely cares about Ridge and felt bad about her actions.
Now that everything’s out in the open, the show’s taken the right steps to make Shauna a viable love interest for Ridge eventually.
That doesn’t necessarily mean Ridge and Shauna will get together again, but they do stand a much better shot of working now that she’s not plotting with Quinn and trapping him in a marriage.
The Bold and the Beautiful seems to like portraying the Fulton women as characters who have made big mistakes but still have good hearts.
Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) forgave Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) for posing as the fake birth mom and keeping quiet about the bogus adoption that made his own brother believe his baby was dead. There’s no reason why Ridge can’t forgive remorseful Shauna for her own mistakes eventually.
Ridge and Shauna were set up to fail through her lies about what went down in Vegas. Brooke was always going to win in the end. However, if The Bold and the Beautiful starts a new chapter for Shauna where she’s honest and stays on the right path, she could be a serious romantic contender.
B&B writers have a habit of bringing love triangles back around, so how long will it be until Ridge can’t stop thinking about Shauna? Bill has struggled to shake his feelings for Brooke over the years, so Ridge may run into a similar problem.
Ridge may not be able to shake Shauna once the next round of “Bridge” drama hits!
