The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ronn Moss (the original Ridge Forrester) and producer-actor Devin DeVasquez, who is his wife, sent love to their fans from Belgium, where the couple is currently quarantined during the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
Moss was part of the daytime drama’s original cast during its 1987 debut season. He used his Instagram account to post a photo of the couple at a past red carpet event, saying, “Seems like so long ago now, wondering when we will have a sense of normality again. Sending (red heart emoji inserted) and light to our friends back home”

Moss often uses this social media platform to demonstrate his other talents as a singer and musician. Entertainment fans know that Player, the band Moss was part of, had a chart-topping hit, Baby Come Back, in 1977 and also produced a number of other popular songs during its run.
Earlier this week Moss offered a cover of the song, Nothing Compares To You, that Prince wrote and composed. Prince’s funk band’s 1985 album, The Family, included that song. However, Nothing Compares To You didn’t become famous until it was released on Sinead O’Connor’s 1990 album, I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got.
Aside of his Instagram video Moss said, “Feeling the intensity of emotions from family and friends during this sensitive time made me want to do this cover written by legendary Prince dedicated to our world.”

Moss and Devasquez are part of a Daytime Emmy Award-winning team that produced the streaming series The Bay.
Moss has portrayed John Blackwell on The Bay since 2010. He played Ridge on B&B from 1987-2012, when he voluntarily left the cast after reaching his milestone twenty-fifth anniversary.
Moss’ first professional acting opportunity came in the 1983 movie Hearts and Armour and was followed by many other credits. He’s scheduled to appear in the move, Trailblazers, that’s set to be released in 2021.
DeVasquez has served as a producer for 44 episodes of the The Bay. Along with other producing credits, DeVasquez has worked as an actor since 1987, and is also scheduled to appear in Trail Blazers.

Among many B&B storylines, Moss’ edition of Ridge was involved in a triangle with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo). While Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) is his mother, a dramatic reveal had Massimo Marone (Joseph Mascolo) confirmed as Ridge’s father, with Eric Forrester (John McCook) and everyone else naturally being stunned.
