The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has a couple of tough battles ahead of her. For starters, there’s the obvious one. Steffy’s facing a long road to recovery, so it’ll be difficult for her to deal with all the pain and frustration.
Of course, that’ll fuel the second battle – what we can assume will be a pain med addiction based on all the clues.
Steffy will be up against a lot, but there’ll be one bright spot in all this. Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will leave Steffy intrigued and eager to see where a romance might lead. It’ll take some time for B&B to build this relationship, but that just means Steffy and Finn will get a strong foundation.
Unfortunately, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy’s drug battle could get in the way of blooming love! As Steffy becomes increasingly dependent on pain medication, she’ll inevitably want to hide that fact from the people who care about her. That should include Finn, especially as their feelings for each other grow.
Since Finn’s a doctor and could spot the warning signs of addiction easier than the average person, Steffy may pump the brakes on their romance. Part of Steffy may even feel ashamed. Steffy may push away the one person who could help her conquer this fight and get her life back on track.
Luckily, Finn’s a smart guy and may figure out something’s up. If Steffy ultimately seems withdrawn and exhibits strange behavior, Finn may sense that there’s a real problem. Perhaps Finn will assume this is more than just not being into him – particularly since Steffy’s interest in him will likely change.
In other words, Steffy may go from flirty and quite interested to not returning Finn’s calls and avoiding him completely. Will Finn urge Steffy to tell him what’s really going on?
Steffy can’t keep a massive secret like this forever, so this storyline should bring some powerful moments. This is the kind of story that could pull Finn and Steffy closer in the end, so that’s good news for Steffy’s romantic future.
Steffy just has to deal with this looming drug battle first, but Finn should be able to get his new love through this! We’ll pass along updates as other B&B details emerge.
