The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Thursday, July 9, tease that viewers will see an encore episode that originally aired on March 12, 2020. The episode is part of “Confrontations Week,” and it features the wedding of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and the sudden interruption by Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
The episode will begin as Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is flashing back to the kiss he shared with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) as he sits in his office at Spencer Publications.
Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) will arrive and tease his dad about his daydreaming. Wyatt and Bill will then lament about all the damage that Thomas has done to Brooke’s family.
Meanwhile, the wedding festivities will begin at the Forrester mansion. Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) will be feeling nervous about Thomas’ plan. Vinny will engage in small talk with other guests, including Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), who will be there to officiate the wedding.
Across the room, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will talk about how Douglas doesn’t want the wedding to proceed. Steffy will tell Liam that Hope knows Thomas’ plan, and Liam will worry, since Hope will do anything for Douglas.
Upstairs in a bedroom, Hope will talk reassuringly to Douglas as Thomas lurks outside the door eavesdropping. Hope will tell Douglas that he should trust her, and that she’ll never let anything or anyone hurt him.
Hope will tell Douglas to be brave today, and Thomas will be pleased as he listens, thinking that his plan is going smoothly.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will rush up and scare Thomas, telling him that the ceremony is about to begin, and that he needs to come take his place.
Meanwhile, in another bedroom, Brooke will be talking with Zoe. Brooke will urge Zoe to listen to her gut feelings, and that if she has doubts, then she should act on her feelings. Zoe will say that she knows what she’s doing.
Soon, it will be time for the wedding ceremony to begin. Vinny will urge Thomas to put an end to this whole thing, but Thomas will tell Vinny to calm down. Thomas will be sure that he got through to Douglas, and that Douglas will have gotten through to Hope. Thomas will be sure that Hope won’t let the wedding happen.
The ceremony will finally begin, with Hope and Douglas in the front row. Carter will begin the ceremony after Zoe walks down the aisle. Douglas won’t be happy, but Carter will say a few words about how Zoe and Thomas’ story is about redemption and forgiveness.
Carter will go on, and suddenly Douglas will cry out, “No, Mommy, stop them!” Douglas will take off and run upstairs, with Hope following him.
Carter will offer to stop the ceremony, and Thomas will want to wait for Hope to calm Douglas down, but Zoe will insist on continuing with the ceremony, and Ridge will chime in that they should continue on.
Carter will continue on, and Zoe will give her personalized vows. Thomas will start to get really nervous at this point, as Zoe babbles on about how Thomas made her fall in love with him.
Finally, it will be time for Thomas to say his vows, and Thomas will look around nervously. Zoe will urge Thomas to speak, and he will offer his vows, saying that he feels overwhelmed and ending by promising to be thankful for Zoe each day.
Rings will then be exchanged, with Thomas nervously glancing at the stairs. Thomas will want to stop the ceremony again, but Zoe will persist, urging Thomas to continue.
Carter will say that there’s just one step left, and Zoe will say her “I do” and then all eyes will be on Thomas to say his “I do” and finalize the ceremony. Thomas will stammer, clearly stalling.
Suddenly, Thomas will look and see Hope and Douglas standing together at the end of the aisle. Hope will be wearing the Hope For The Future wedding gown that Thomas designed for her. Everyone will be stunned.
