The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, October 8 Recap - Eric Walks Out On Quinn - Brooke & Ridge Still Married

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Thursday, October 8, reveal that Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) continued their standoff at the Forrester mansion. Eric demanded that Quinn tell him that what he overheard wasn’t true.

Quinn begged Eric to hear her out, and Eric said that he wanted honesty, not more excuses. Eric said that Quinn had been caught and the he heard everything about what she and Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) did.

Quinn admitted that it was true, but that she had a very good reason for doing what she did. Quinn said that she didn’t want to lose her relationship with Eric. Eric fired back that Quinn couldn’t go back to behaving the way she used to.

Quinn said that her reason for her actions came from her heart, prompting Eric to yell that Quinn couldn’t justify setting up Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and that Quinn shouldn’t pretend that this was about Shauna and Ridge.

Eric said that this was about Quinn’s hatred for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Quinn yelled that Brooke had never respected her as Eric’s wife. “I’m so sick of her insinuating herself into our lives!” Quinn fumed.

“I had to protect what we worked so hard to build.” Eric was nearly in angry tears as Quinn went on about how she couldn’t let Brooke destroy their marriage. “I would do ANYTHING to defend our marriage!” Quinn insisted.

Eric ranted about how he had defended Quinn left and right, and how he believed that Quinn was a changed woman. Quinn admitted that maybe she overstepped too far, but that she couldn’t watch Brooke chip away at this life they created.

Quinn then opined that Brooke didn’t deserve Ridge, and Eric yelled that Quinn doesn’t decide who Ridge chooses.

“I hate to say this, but I don’t think you’ve changed at all,” Eric said. “I don’t think you ever will.” Quinn insisted that she had changed for Eric, but Eric said that Quinn’s insecurities and jealousy had destroyed their future.

In tears, Eric said that he had begged Quinn not to go back to her old ways. Quinn asked what she could do to gain Eric’s trust back, and Eric said that he had no idea.

Eric gazed at the portrait of Quinn on the wall, and he said that he couldn’t do this. “You’ve crossed a line that I cannot forgive. I can’t even look at you, Quinn. I won’t ever be able to look at you again,”

Eric fumed as he walked out of the mansion. “Don’t leave, Eric!” Quinn yelled, but Eric walked out and Quinn collapsed on the couch crying.

Over at Brooke’s place, Ridge and Brooke happily recapped what had happened, and how Ridge couldn’t go through with the wedding ceremony to Shauna. Brooke said that she had known that Shauna and Quinn were up to something.

Ridge said that he should have listened to Brooke, but that he was home now and that they should make it right.

Meanwhile, at Forrester Creations, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) told Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) that he was glad to be back in Los Angeles and that he had missed his family.

Zoe wondered about Nicole Avant (Reign Edwards), then she immediately apologized for getting into Zende’s business.

Carter got a call from Ridge asking him to come over to Brooke’s place, so he took off, and later Zende and Zoe found themselves back in the CEO office together.

Zoe gazed at some of Zende’s designs and said she liked what she saw, then she inquired about Nicole again. Zende only said that life had thrown him and Nicole a few curve balls.

Zoe said that she was glad that Zende was back and that they could meet in person and that he was an amazing photographer and designer. Zende asked if Zoe was flirting with him, and Zoe said that she must not be doing it right if Zende had to ask.

Zoe asked Zende to say something in French, and he told her that she was beautiful in the language of love. “But I have a boyfriend,” Zoe said.

Zoe noted that she and Carter hadn’t put a label on anything yet, and Zende said that Carter was pretty into Zoe and that they were friends. “What about me, am I your friend?” Zoe asked.

Zoe thought that since Zende and Nicole were no longer together, word about him being back in Los Angeles would spread like wildfire. “You will be a hot commodity, Zende.”

Zoe and Zende then talked about her wedding fiasco with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Zoe said that she was nearly a member of the Forrester family, and she said that she couldn’t imagine that opportunity would ever present itself again.

Back at Brooke’s place, Carter arrived, and he was happy to learn that Brooke and Ridge were back together. Ridge and Brooke then explained to Carter how the text that was supposedly from Ridge asking him to file the divorce papers was fraudulent.

“You know what that means,” Carter said with a big smile. “If you never gave me the directive, then for all intents and purposes you are still married.”

Brooke and Ridge were thrilled, and Carter said that he’d look into officially reversing the divorce contract right away. Carter mentioned Zoe in conversation, and Brooke and Ridge noted that Carter and Zoe were dating.

Ridge noted Zoe’s past, and Carter said that Zoe deeply regretted her past with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez).

“I hope she does,” Ridge said. Carter asked what Ridge meant, and Ridge urged Carter to watch his back. After Carter took off, Ridge and Brooke reveled in their reunion, and Brooke said that she knew Ridge would come back and that Quinn would be exposed.
