The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 4, reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) got the cliff house ready for Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) homecoming from the hospital.
Flowers, cards from the girls, and balloons decorated the house. Hope mentioned that it was nice to have Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray) with them last night, and she vowed to help Steffy in any way she could.
While the girls slept in the bedroom, Liam and Hope continued to talk. Liam noted that it was hard for Steffy to be away from Kelly, and Hope was just glad that Steffy had been wearing her helmet during the accident.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Steffy talked with Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) about going home. Steffy said that she couldn’t wait to see her daughter, and Finn cautioned that she wouldn’t be able to pick anything up anytime soon.
Finn reminded Steffy that there was no need for her to tough out the pain. Steffy said that she didn’t want to feel “out of it” but Finn said that her pain would be harder to manage if she didn’t keep up on her pain meds.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) walked in and asked if Steffy was ready to go home and see her daughter. Steffy was more than ready.
Later, Steffy was up and dressed, and Finn came in. “Let’s get you home to your daughter,” Finn said. Finn said that Steffy’s pain meds and discharge papers were waiting for her at the nurses’ station and that it was very important that she take her pain meds as directed.
Ridge said that he’d make sure Steffy stayed on top of it. Steffy’s next pain pill was due when she got back home.
Back at the cliff house, Liam and Hope marveled at their great work in fixing up the house. Steffy and Ridge came in, and Steffy was happy to see all the decorations.
Steffy thanked Hope for watching Kelly, and she moved toward Kelly’s room. Ridge thought that Steffy should take it easy, but Steffy insisted that she was going to go see her daughter.
Steffy went through the door to Kelly’s room and saw Kelly, saying, “Mommy’s here.” Steffy carried on a bit much, and everyone looked a little worried about her. Steffy came back and said that she was feeling better already, but she didn’t look better and was nearly in tears.
Later, everyone sat and talked, and Steffy said that it was scary to think about what she might have lost. Liam urged Steffy not to “go there,” and later Steffy experienced more pain.
Ridge urged Steffy to take her pain meds, but Steffy said that she doesn’t want to rely on meds. Steffy then had more pain, and Ridge insisted that she take a pill. Reluctantly, Steffy popped a pill.
At the beach house, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) talked about their past night of lovemaking. Flo wondered how Wyatt was doing with not having Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) around, and Wyatt said that there was to be no more thinking about Sally all the time.
Katie Logan (Heather Tom) then stopped by, all worried because she had a strange text from Sally saying that Sally was sorry.
Off-screen, Katie learned the whole story about what Sally did, and Katie was shocked. “She played me masterfully,” Katie said. “I can’t believe she’d do this to me – she used me!”
After rehashing everything that Sally did, Wyatt said that Sally had felt hurt and rejected by him, but that didn’t justify what she did. Katie was surprised that Flo had mercy on Sally and didn’t press charges, but Sally said that she let Wyatt make the decision.
Wyatt said that he couldn’t have had Sally locked up, and that he told her to get her life together and just stay away from them. Sally then complimented Flo, and Wyatt said that he loved Flo for being the caring and generous person she is.
After Katie left, Flo and Wyatt talked some more, and Wyatt complimented Flo again, saying that they’d grow old together.
Finally, at Sally’s apartment, Sally was wiping away tears and hanging out when there was a knock on the door. Katie entered, saying “How could you?” Sally teared up and prepared for the upcoming onslaught of questions.
