The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 1, reveal that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was wondering about Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and how he didn’t come home last night when John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) appeared at the cabin.
Finn expressed his concerns about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), noting that something about Thomas seemed off.
When Finn mentioned that Thomas kept rubbing his head and admitted to having a headache, Hope shared that Thomas had fallen recently and lost his balance. Finn thought that a blow to the head would explain a lot, and he said that head injuries could be serious.
Hope started to worry, but she said that she hadn’t seen any red flags with Thomas’ behavior. Finn eventually took off, leaving Hope with his card in case she needed anything.
At the cliff house, Liam woke up on the couch, and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) exited Kelly Spencer’s (Colette and Avalon Gray) room. Steffy and Liam decided that they needed to talk about the night before, and they each looked horrified by what had transpired.
Together, Steffy and Liam decided that the big question was what comes next.
Liam noted that he hoped that seeing Hope and Thomas kissing was just a bad dream. “I shouldn’t have stayed here, and you have a boyfriend,” Liam lamented. “I should have stayed at the office.”
Liam and Steffy agreed that it felt like old times and that one thing led to another. Steffy said that Liam should go talk to Hope, but Liam didn’t think there was anything Hope could say to explain her making out with Thomas.
Over at Thomas’ apartment, Thomas was unsuccessfully trying to get the mannequin to talk back to him when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) knocked at the door. Thomas hurriedly put the mannequin away, and Ridge entered.
After some talk about how Thomas was moving forward personally and professionally, Ridge praised Thomas for putting Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) first.
Thomas noted that Douglas was really doing so well because of Hope, and that caused some red flags to go up for Ridge. Thomas explained that he wasn’t obsessed with Hope anymore, and that he wasn’t going to go down that road again, but that he still felt animosity toward Liam.
Ridge didn’t like that, but Thomas said that he accepted that Hope was with Liam.
After Ridge left, Thomas told the mannequin that he needed to get rid of her. Suddenly, the mannequin came to life and told Thomas that Liam was the one who had to go, and that Thomas should make Hope his.
Thomas argued back, saying that the mannequin wasn’t helping him to be his best self. “Take what you want,” the mannequin urged.
Thomas replied that he had to earn Hope’s respect, and that when Liam eventually broke her heart, he’d be there to help her pick up the pieces. “I have to be a good father and a good man,” Thomas insisted. Thomas then wondered why he was talking to a mannequin, and the mannequin replied that she was real.
Thomas said that he hit his head, and that’s when this all started. “Could that be the reason for this – for you?” Thomas wondered aloud. The mannequin replied that she was here and that she WAS Hope. Thomas shouted at the mannequin to leave him alone.
Outside in the hallway, Hope walked up and heard Thomas yelling and arguing. The mannequin kept taunting Thomas, saying that Hope wanted him, and he yelled back, grabbing the mannequin and saying, “You have to go before you ruin everything!”
As Thomas was yelling at the mannequin, Hope walked in the apartment and yelled “Thomas! Let it go! Let go of the mannequin!” Thomas looked thoroughly confused and agitated.
