The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, August 27, teases that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will remain outraged by the scene she just found at the Forrester mansion.
Brooke saw Shauna Fulton Forrester (Denise Richards) on the bed and now Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has appeared. This definitely isn’t what Brooke expected to find when she came over, so she’ll keep pushing for answers about what’s going on.
Of course, Ridge might pipe up that he’s spending time with his wife! He may think the one who really has some explaining to do is Brooke. There’s sure to be some confusion since Brooke has no idea Ridge heard her love profession to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
That was mostly just a way to let Bill down gently, but Ridge drew the wrong conclusion since he didn’t catch the last part.
However, Ridge is fed up with wondering what’s in Brooke’s head and in her heart. Brooke loves Bill…she doesn’t love Bill…part of her loves him…she loves Ridge more… What’s Ridge supposed to believe at this point? Ridge probably won’t even care what the truth is since he can’t be certain of it.
Brooke and Ridge clearly have trust issues, so Ridge may think those issues are impossible to overcome. Now that Brooke’s seen how quickly Ridge can race back to Shauna, she may be inclined to agree.
Brooke may insist that she rejected Bill, but that doesn’t change Ridge’s behavior in the aftermath. It also doesn’t change the fact that Bill’s always going to be in Brooke’s heart on some level.
Although Brooke insisted Ridge was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, Ridge may feel like the threat of Bill’s hanging over them. How can Ridge rest knowing Brooke could easily drift back in Bill’s direction?
The Bold and the Beautiful fans know Bill’s going to have a foothold forever – and Ridge isn’t OK with that.
Likewise, Ridge bolting back to Shauna proved his lack of devotion to Brooke. B&B’s “Bridge” has crumbled and there’s just no repairing it right now. Over with Bill and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer), their tense conversation will turn into a full-blown shouting match.
It’ll be easy for Katie Logan (Heather Tom) to come along and overhear the end of it – and that’s exactly what’s going to happen.
Katie will be shocked when she does some eavesdropping on Thursday. There’s a good chance Katie will hear Bill arguing with Quinn about his love declaration. If Katie finds out Bill was off professing his love to Brooke again, you can bet she’ll hit the roof!
This could put the final nail in “Batie’s” coffin since Katie’s already been wary of reuniting with Bill.
