The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, October 1, teases that Eric Forrester (John McCook) will fight against his own wife’s plan. Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) was over the moon when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) got on board with the wedding do-over idea.
Ridge may not be exactly thrilled, but he feels like he owes this to Shauna Fulton Forrester (Denise Richards) and wants to do something special for her.
Quinn will be a busy beaver on Thursday as she hustles with all the wedding prep. Eric, on the other hand, will try to make sure the nuptials are nixed! B&B spoilers say Eric will be holding out hope that Ridge and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will work things out.
If Ridge goes through with another wedding and cements his commitment to Shauna, Eric may fear there’s no coming back from it. Furthermore, Eric will get the feeling that Ridge isn’t all that enthusiastic about the plan anyway.
Since Eric won’t see any real benefits here, he’ll urge Ridge to call off the second wedding or at least postpone it.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric will make a speech about what a huge mistake this is. He’ll beg Ridge not to hurt Brooke like this, but Ridge will move forward with the wedding despite his ex’s pain.
Naturally, Ridge won’t want to cause Brooke emotional distress, but he’s made a commitment to Shauna and wants to honor it.
While Ridge stands his ground and Brooke battles a broken heart, things will be looking up for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). B&B fans can expect a major promotion for Carter, who’ll be taking on additional responsibilities at Forrester Creations.
Carter’s excellent work will move him into a position with more power, higher pay and a title to be proud of.
You can bet Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) will be ecstatic over Carter’s good news, so she may find a way to help him celebrate.
Carter’s experiencing some positive updates in both his personal and professional life, but Zende Forrester-Dominguez (Delon de Metz) will make a comeback next week – and that’ll lead to drama between Carter and Zoe eventually.
In the meantime, there’ll be more lovey-dovey moments between Zoe and Carter as their romance grows stronger. B&B has to build them up so they can either fall hard or weather the storm ahead.
