The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 1, reveal that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) continued their argument at Brooke’s place. Quinn told Brooke that she had pushed Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) in Shauna Fulton’s (Denise Richards) direction. Brooke said that this wasn’t her final chapter with Ridge, and Quinn balked.
Brooke tried to call Ridge, and Quinn mused that Ridge probably wanted to be alone…and perhaps he wasn’t even alone. Quinn joyously speculated that Ridge might even be with Shauna, and that he’d probably soon file the divorce papers. Brooke insisted that her marriage to Ridge wasn’t over, and Quinn openly wondered what Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) had that Ridge didn’t.
Quinn insisted that Brooke and Bill would somehow find their way back to each other, then she blasted Brooke again for attacking her in her own home. Quinn mused that she was the Forrester matriarch since she was married to Eric Forrester (John McCook), and maybe someday she’d be able to share that title with Shauna. Brooke said that Quinn wasn’t going to win, and neither was Shauna.
Meanwhile, at Flo Fulton’s (Katrina Bowden) apartment, Ridge told Shauna that he was at a crossroads, and that if she was going to Vegas, then he was going with her. Shauna said that Ridge still loved Brooke, but Ridge didn’t want to talk about Brooke. Rather, Ridge said that being in love with someone like Brooke hurt too much, and that it wasn’t like that with Shauna.
Ridge said that he and Shauna didn’t have any baggage, but Shauna said that he had a lifetime of memories and a family with Brooke. Ridge said it wasn’t enough and that he’s lived through it all with Brooke and she never learns. Shauna pointed out that it was only one make out session, but Ridge said that this was different – it was Bill, and he couldn’t forgive that.
Ridge said that he liked his relationship with Shauna – they didn’t lie to each other and there were no secrets. Ridge said that he thought they could get to know each other in Los Angeles, but that if Shauna’s going to Vegas, then he’s going with her. Shauna said that she wouldn’t be used for Ridge to get over his wife, and that she didn’t want to be the rebound.
Shauna explained that she has fallen hard for Ridge, and she’s scared that this will end with her getting her heart broken. Ridge said that he would never hurt her like that, and that he wanted to find out more about her. Ridge explained that this was a chance for him, and that he wasn’t going to let it slip by, so if Shauna was going to Vegas, so was he. Ridge and Shauna then kissed.
Next, at Bill’s mansion, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) was packing a suitcase when Bill walked in. Bill asked Katie not to do this, and he said that Katie should blame him and not Brooke. Katie fired back that she blamed them both, and that she didn’t have the energy to hear Bill out again. Katie said that this always happens…again…with him and Brooke.
Bill and Katie went back and forth for a while, and Bill insisted that the kiss was just a moment in time that wasn’t going to go further. Katie said that she wanted to believe him, but that maybe their story was just a story and wasn’t real. Katie said that she was tired of shedding tears over this, and that it doesn’t change anything.
Bill insisted that he wanted a life with Katie and Will Spencer (Finnegan George), and he said that he wasn’t going to let Katie walk out that door. Bill offered to be the one to leave, saying that this was their family’s home, and that Katie should stay. Bill begged Katie not to lose faith in them, but Katie said that she thought it was he who had lost faith.
Bill implored Katie not to let his screw up be the end of them, and he agreed to give Katie the time and space she wanted. But Bill was clear that he was not giving up, and he said that he needed to hear Katie say the same. “Tell me you’re not giving up on us either,” Bill said.
