The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, August 12, tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will have quite a task in front of him. As B&B viewers know, Ridge has just shown up back at Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, where Brooke was sprawled on the bed and waiting for Ridge to come home and celebrate their reunion. I
t was all a big surprise, since Brooke was supposed to be in New York visiting with Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones).
Brooke has just noticed that something is very wrong with Ridge, and the moment of truth will come, when Ridge has to tell Brooke that he’s married to Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).
It’s going to be a heavy scene, with Ridge saying that he needs to tell Brooke something, and Brooke initially assuming that Ridge must have slept with Shauna in Las Vegas.
But then Ridge will drop the bomb on Brooke, telling her that it’s worse than all that, and that he and Shauna actually got married in Vegas. Of course, Brooke will probably balk at this, since she knows that she and Ridge are still married.
Ridge will have to miserably explain the whole story about how he supposedly texted Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) on the night of the Vegas trip and had Carter file the divorce papers.
Brooke’s going to be utterly horrified by what she hears from Ridge, and she’s probably going to wonder if foul play was involved, but it seems that Brooke won’t yet put together that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) was involved in all of this.
However, Brooke will tell Ridge that he can’t just take Shauna’s word for it that the two of them are married. Brooke will probably want Ridge to do some investigating and make sure that the whole thing is legit.
Meanwhile, on the new episode of B&B on Wednesday, August 12, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) will forge a new partnership. As B&B viewers will remember, Zoe previously talked with Ridge about her new ambitions at Forrester Creations, which are to be much more than a model.
It looks like Zoe has business aspirations as well, and on Wednesday’s episode, she and Hope will decide to put the past behind them and team up to be a force on the Hope For The Future (HFTF) line.
Of course, putting the past behind them will be harder for Hope, who surely can’t forget that Zoe was a major part of the Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) situation.
B&B viewers will remember that Zoe’s dad Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) is the one who concocted the plan to kidnap Hope and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) baby and arrange an illegal adoption to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Despite all of that, it seems that Hope will agree to put the past in the past and move forward with Zoe on HFTF. Perhaps Hope and Zoe will be able to resurrect the troubled line, which hasn’t seen much success in the recent past.
Hope and Zoe will aim to change all of that, as they work toward the line being renewed and revived, and we’ll see how much business savvy Zoe ends up having. Together, Hope and Zoe could breathe new life into HFTF.
