The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that more details are coming out about the long-awaited cliffhanger resolution. B&B fans will recall that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) arrived home and looked horrified by what he’d walked in on. CDL previously confirmed Wyatt and Flo Fulton’s (Katrina Bowden) speedy reunion, and now we’ve got some updates on how that reunion goes down.
In an interview posted by The Washington Times, B&B Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell talked about Wyatt’s epic rescue. When The Bold and the Beautiful picks up the drama in new episodes, Flo will be chained to a radiator following her kidnapping.
Perhaps Wyatt saw aftermath of the confrontation and will continue his search. It’s possible Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) were able to get unconscious Flo down in the basement or something along those lines. Penny and Sally apparently chained Flo up before getting the heck out of dodge!
Once Wyatt makes a shocking discovery, he’ll free Flo from her restraints. Flo will be relieved and grateful to her hero, so this is the kind of scene that deserves a passionate kiss. Of course, that’s not allowed as part of the new safety protocols for actors on the B&B set.
Bell explained how they still pulled it off with a little help from Katrina Bowden’s real-life husband, Ben Jorgensen.
“It really called for a big embrace and a kiss,” Bell said. “So once she was freed, we stopped tape, Katrina’s husband came in and they finished the scene. We see the back of his head, and I think it’s very convincing it’s really Darin.”
There’s no word yet on what happens to Sally and Penny, but they could be on the run for a while. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers point to some new storylines that’ll dominate airtime. Even if we do see quick consequences for Penny and Sally, it looks like B&B will move past the whole scam story soon enough.
