The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that some tight spots and dirty little secrets will cause chaos in Genoa City. This fall will pack in plenty of shockers, so let’s talk about some of them. Here are six major fall preview updates and what they mean for all your favorite characters.
1) Countdown to cheating exposure
For starters, we should talk about Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) decision to cheat right there in the New Hope Clinic! Yikes. There are some Y&R spoilers about Nate pressing his luck, so this might even turn into a full-fledged affair. Regardless, the countdown to cheating exposure will soon be on.
Whether Elena comes clean to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) or finds out another way, you can bet this betrayal will sting. Nate’s involvement will really twist the knife, so this may push Devon to lean on Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Elena will inevitably learn she was her own worst enemy.
2) Summer and Kyle’s romance explodes
Things look awfully rosy for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) right now, but that won’t be the case for much longer. Will Summer and Kyle’s new plan to elope end in disaster?
There’s no guarantee this marriage will happen, but there’ll be drama even if it does. The writing’s on the wall for a “Skyle” explosion, so emotions are about to get messy!
3) Billy’s day of reckoning
Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) feeling smug now that his story’s a huge success, but he shouldn’t get too cocky. Billy’s overconfidence is a sign that he’s going to crash and burn eventually.
It’s clear that Billy’s got a ton of people on his bad side, so it’s just a matter of who’ll take Billy down and how! Billy’s day of reckoning is coming, which is fitting since he just brought the same for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
4) Phyllis’ desperation is her downfall
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will grow increasingly frantic due to her admitted cash flow problems, so this has trouble written all over it. It sounds like Phyllis’ desperation could be her downfall since she’ll have to stoop pretty low to get the money she needs.
That could cost Phyllis her relationship with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) if she isn’t careful!
5) Sharon’s cancer turning point
A major turning point is coming up in Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) cancer storyline. Fortunately, this should be a turn for the better. After months of suffering through this breast cancer battle, some good news should be headed Sharon’s way. That’ll be a relief to Sharon and everyone who’s backing her up through this tough fight.
6) Jordan’s mysterious agenda
Madison Thompson will debut as a new character named Jordan this fall – and it looks like this sophisticated young woman will have a mysterious agenda. There’s no word on exactly what Jordan has in store for GC, but she’ll be wise beyond her years and could perhaps lead a character or two down a challenging path.
