The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) hasn’t been seen in Genoa City, Wisconsin, since 2013. As longtime fans know, he often expressed angst the instant Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) appeared.
It would be very intriguing if Danny’s next comeback involved the script being turned around. Consider a scenario where Phyllis saves his life, or does something else that’s overwhelmingly endearing. Rather than re-teaming Danny with Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell), as has been done before, why not have him actually fall for Phyllis?

A long time ago, meaning the 1990’s, Phyllis literally stalked Danny, who was a pop star. She was, in effect, a groupie.
Through various means and measures a terrific arc enabled the ever-great Stafford to created one of the most important characters of that decade. The fact that Phyllis endures as a major player to this day speaks digital volumes about various Y&R regimes, its many writers, Stafford, especially, and her castmates.
Danny came to believe that Phyllis was pregnant with his child. She was carrying the boy who became Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). But he wasn’t Danny’s child, though Damian’s character continues to treat him like a son.

Of course it’s reasonable to ask if the fans would actually believe that Danny would fall for Phyllis. With all that happened in the past and him knowing that she tried to kill Christine and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) it’s surely true that a well paced, masterful storyline would need to be created.
Damian and Stafford possess solid pedigrees and Y&R just earned the Daytime Emmy award as the top Drama Series. So, the talent is there to pull off this type of storyline. Of course, Damian would have to be offered the chance to return to the show and he would need to accept.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Great Soap Blends Yesterday Into Today
Viewers who have been watching the classic episodes have surely enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces. Hardcore fans have refamiliarized themselves with the stories they once knew and newer fans have been able to fill in the blanks that they only knew about in passing.
Bringing back one of Y&R’s most celebrated characters of his era and matching him with Phyllis would establish many possibilities. Just imagine how Cricket would react when she would realize that Phyllis was actually winning Danny over, for starters.
