Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) shocked Devon at his penthouse last year. He opened the door and saw the exact physical image of Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s initial Y&R character) looking at him.
A scant amount of dialogue has been offered regarding Amanda’s genetic backstory. Devoted soap fans know that means Y&R deferred the obvious storyline until after it established Morgan’s character.
That’s happened in recent months, as Amanda’s more recent backstory transformed her into a sympathetic person, with Devon and Elena offering their apologies for having initially treated her harshly.

This is a reasonable assumption to make for many reasons, including the opportunities it would create for James and Morgan to collaborate regularly again.
Hevon Part II? No. The difference in dynamic of Amanda’s life story makes her a different person than her presumed sister. This also generates a limitless amount of potential for whatever Devon and Amanda can become.
Plus, the opportunity for Devon to explore whatever unresolved feelings he has for his late wife should also prove to be highly compelling.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson Naturally Devastated
Elena is a good soul. She’s in a profession that allows her to help vulnerable souls. Ironically, she is vulnerable herself and stands to be devastated if her link to Devon is broken.
The deepening bond she’s formed with Devon didn’t develop quickly. Instead, both people created an organic pairing that felt realistic in its pacing.
Sarpy’s character was naturally concerned about how Amanda’s appearance might impact Devon’s psyche and his heart. Time has allowed Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to be drawn to Amanda and for her to begin reciprocating his interest.
But Nate could be the man who eventually offers support to his New Hope clinic colleague when Devon and Amanda inevitably bond.
Amanda doesn’t have to be confirmed as Hilary’s sister in order for a relationship to happen with Devon, as the physical appearance alone could prove to be overwhelming. But if they are sisters, then Devon will clearly be linked to that discovery in some way. That would push the prospect of romance between them.
