The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Elizabeth Hendrickson Celebrates Holiday Weekend Birthday – Chloe’s Baby Storyline Reboot

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell) is celebrating her birthday during this Independence Day weekend. She was born on July 3, in Northport, New York.

The actor, who was first cast on Y&R in 2008, gave birth to her first child earlier this year. She and her husband, Rob Meder, welcomed Josephine James on March 27.

As Y&R fans know, Hendrickson’s character was also pregnant on the show when fans last saw Chloe. She and Kevin Mitchell (Greg Rikaart) were awaiting their second child in late April, when the last new episodes were seen.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – No Padding Was Needed For Elizabeth Hendrickson

Y&R has traditionally recorded approximately six weeks in advance of a new episode’s air date. The cast was filming in mid March when the production shutdown became necessary.

Fans knew that Hendrickson wasn’t wearing padding underneath her outfits in order to look like she was about to give birth. No, she was nearly ready to deliver when Chloe was last seen experiencing what proved to be faux labor pains.

Chloe, Kevin, their daughter, Bella Fisher (Martie Blair), Likey, aka Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc), along with Chloe’s mother, Esther Valentine (Kate Linder), were anticipating Khloe’s baby in the spring. So, it’s fair to wonder if Y&R will time jump this storyline when new episodes return?

Young And The Restless Spoilers – New Filming Schedule Questions And Answers

This iconic soap was originally scheduled to resume production on July 6. However, the restart date has been pushed to July 13, in order to try and assure that production can be resumed without having to shutdown again.

Y&R’s sister show, The Bold and the Beautiful, resumed production in the later part of June. A brief production shutdown was needed to adjust testing protocols, with production resuming and remaining intact to-date.

Lauralee Bell (Christine Williams) recently said, during an Instagram Live chat with Doug Davidson (Paul Williams), that TPTB at Y&R are learning through B&B’s efforts in order to prepare for what it hopes will be a clean resumption of filming by mid July.

Bell’s late parents co-founded Y&R and B&B. Her brother, Bradley Bell, is the executive producer of B&B, which shares the same studio with Y&R.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – When Will Chloe and Kevin Welcome The Baby?

Assume that Y&R restarts production less than two weeks from now, as is hoped. If filming stays on schedule and the Khloe storyline is addressed first, fans would likely see the continuation, or resolution of that storyline by approximately mid August.

Classic episodes have been playing since late April. So, Y&R is motivated to create new shows for broadcast as soon as possible. That dynamic would likely cut down the traditional turnaround time frame.
