The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) still has an important task to accomplish once the CBS soap returns with new episodes. Of course, we’re talking about giving birth! Chloe’s pregnancy will remain stuck in limbo until the show can get back up and running, but she’ll have to pop this baby out sooner or later.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Hendrickson reflected on the birth of her daughter and how it’s prepared her for the scenes she’ll have to shoot. Now that Hendrickson’s had some real-life experience, it’s given her a new perspective. It turns out Hendrickson feels like she had it all wrong before!
“When I was in labor and hobbling around the hospital room, I looked at the nurse and said, ‘You know, I’m on a soap opera. I’ve had two children on a soap opera and I just realized I’m an awful actress! This is not at all what I’ve been playing!’” Hendrickson insisted with a laugh.
However, Hendrickson admitted her memory’s a bit fuzzy when it comes to what she did on the show. The Young and the Restless star is eager to get back to work and eventually give things another try. Hendrickson thinks she’ll benefit from having a baby before she tackles Chloe’s upcoming delivery scenes, even if the wait’s longer than anticipated.
“But now it’s been so long and I can barely remember what it was like,” Hendrickson said about Chloe giving birth on the show. “I was looking forward to doing it a bit closer to me having a baby because it would’ve been fresh, but I’m still super excited.”
Many Y&R fans are excited as well, so it’ll be great once everyone’s back in the studio. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will eventually welcome a brand-new baby boy, but there could easily be some complications – or at least some wild circumstances that set up the delivery!
