The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Eric Braeden Scores Toilet Paper Purchase - Shares Hilarious Photo

The Young and the Restless spoilers has some news to pass on about a fan-favorite Y&R star. Eric Braeden, who portrays Victor Newman on the CBS soap, recently shared a humorous update on his Twitter feed concerning difficulty that many people across the country are having finding paper products, and particularly toilet paper.

As you probably know by now, supplies of items like toilet paper, hand sanitizer, Kleenex, and paper towels are short. A walk into one’s local supermarket will demonstrate the point – shelves in many areas are empty when it comes to these particular items.

Well, Eric posted a photo of himself getting groceries out of the trunk of his car, and he scored a package of toilet paper on his trip. Eric’s shown in the photo holding a roll of the toilet paper and pointing at it humorously. The tweet reads: “Out early in the morning! Got lucky!!!”

Eric’s followers loved the tweet and have been responding to it steadily since he posted it. Eric has even responded to many of his fans on the matter, which is nothing new – Eric is great about interacting with fans on Twitter and it’s a common occurrence.

One follower replied to Eric’s photo and tweet by saying: “Victor ALWAYS gets what he wants/needs. Stay safe. LOL.” And another follower said: “Wow – guard it with ur life.” To that, Eric responded: “Have the famous NEWMAN RANCH SECURITY guarding it!!”

Someone else responded: “Can u spare a square?” clearly referencing the famous Seinfeld episode in which Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) asked a lady in a neighboring stall whether she could spare a square of toilet tissue. Eric responded to this follower by saying: “I’ll roll it to your place!!”

Then someone else replied: “That could be Paul’s next case! ‘Who is hoarding all the TP in GC?’” Eric replied to that with: “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Of course, that follower was referring to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), who’s chief of police in Genoa City on Y&R.

At any rate, it’s great to see Eric poking a little fun during these strange times. Eric’s fans have appreciated it, and it’s great to lighten the mood as everyone is staying inside – except, of course, for the trips to the store to look for toilet paper and other supplies!

We love Eric’s tweets and we hope they keep coming! Stay tuned to the CBS soap and be sure to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless recaps, spoilers, and news.
