The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Greg Rikaart Live Tweets About Kevin Fisher – Fiery Trip Back In Y&R Daytime

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) live tweeted during an episode of Y&R, offering his real time reaction to the classic show where his character set Gina Roma’s (Patty Weaver) restaurant on fire after locking Colleen Carlton (Lyndsy Fonseca) inside a walk-in freezer. Yes, Kevin was a menace to society in Genoa City, Wisconsin, at that time.

Rikaart’s online comments included his episode insights, thoughts about his co-stars, and self-deprecating humor.

The actor’s dry humor, which purposely lightened what was one of his character’s most serious arcs, included a photo where Kevin is pouring a bottle of alcohol on the door of the freezer. Along with the posted photo Rikaart said, “A waste of the good stuff.”

He also tagged Don Diamont (who played Brad Carlton, Colleen’s father, at the time and was before the actor became Bill Spencer on the Bold and the Beautiful) saying, “Hi @don_diamont! Sorry about the whole freezer thing.”

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Other Stories Within The Y&R Throwback Episode

The longtime YR actor, who first joined the cast in 2003, didn’t limit himself to commenting about the scenes he played in. He complimented various co-stars, including Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) and Christel Khalil (Lily Winters), who played a scene that was directly linked to Kevin’s storyline.

Rikaart’s character was involved with Lily, who was much younger than him at the time. That served to rile Neil, fully eliciting his paternal instincts.

Rikaart said, “Kristoff and Lily are SO GOOD! I remember thinking so when they shot these scenes.”

He referenced Thad Luckinbill (J.T. Hellstrom), when commenting on that character’s search for his then girlfriend, Colleen, who Kevin was targeting for death. Colleen totally opposed Lily’s connection to Kevin and thankfully survived the attempt on her life.

Rikaart said, “It was fun playing enemies with Thad.”
