The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may finally solve a mystery that Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) been pondering.
Y&R fans know Jack’s been on a mission to find the “teardrop of love” emerald necklace from Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) home movie. That mission will become even more urgent as Dina’s death draws near.
Jack will fear he’ll never be able to reunite Dina with this necklace if he doesn’t act fast. Unfortunately, it’s doubtful Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will find it in storage like she hoped.
Jack may reach another dead end and accept that this quest is over. Perhaps Jack will return to the Abbott mansion empty-handed and just decide to concentrate on Dina instead of this gem.
However, we know Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will make it back from Chicago before Dina dies. Sadly, there’s a good chance Kyle will return wife-less. It looks like a failed elopement will send Kyle home alone and leave him in possession of the “marriage license day” gift he was set to give Summer.
The Young and the Restless viewers will recall that Summer felt bad about now having anything to exchange with Kyle. After Kyle presented the small jewelry-sized box, he wondered if Summer was going to open it.
Summer suggested it didn’t matter what was inside. She was sure she would love it – because Summer loves Kyle.
Unfortunately, Summer may not love Kyle enough to marry him – not right now anyway. That still leaves a mystery left dangling: What was in the box? Perhaps Y&R will let some mysteries collide!
Kyle might’ve gotten his hands on the “teardrop of love” without knowing Jack’s so eager to find it.
We know that the emerald will be given back to Dina right before she passes away. Kyle may rush home just before Dina’s death and get some comfort in knowing he granted her last wish. Since Dina and Kyle have always had a special bond, it seems like a fitting gesture.
