The Young and the Restless spoilers document that whoever Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) accidentally killed in self-defense in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a reasonable prime suspect in the shooting that just took place in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
Considering the open-ended nature of the storyline that was repeatedly referenced by Adam and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and the certain emotions that Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) stirred up when she was working on the story that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) backed and then published, it’s fair to suggest that the widow of the man Adam killed wanted Grossman’s character dead.

Anyone who tried to kill Adam, but inadvertently shot Chance instead, will be facing an attempted murder charge, along with other charges, after being caught. Y&R simply can’t allow whoever the person was that shot the bullet to remain a cloaked indefinitely, or forever.
So, reasonable speculation about Faith Newman’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) friend, Jordan (Madison Thompson) has been recently offered. That type of secondary character can be easily revealed as the criminal.
The fact that Jordan hasn’t even been given a last name (yet) might be a wink that she’s the shooter, a point that savvy soap fans have already considered.
However, among other options, the Vegas story would seem the better option to tap.

This fits better, right? The widow who thought that her husband was in the Witness Protection Program learns that he was killed by Adam. So, she bolts to GC and tries to kill him, but hits Chance instead.
This proposed scenario would likely eliminate the angle where Adam set up a fake attempt on his life in order to frame Billy, which is a rather tantalizing option if that’s used instead.
In this widow storyline Y&R would write in a character who could then be quickly written out after she’s arrested, charged, and convicted.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Did The Dead Man Have A Daughter?
But Jordan’s backstory hasn’t been detailed. Could she be the daughter of the man who was killed in Vegas? Sure, why not?
In this combined projection Jordan and her mother, the referenced widow, are in this together. That would be a rather wild climax and reveal. But this is daytime and Adam has been known to provoke people from all over the country, or from around the world actually.
