The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that some explosive revelations are on the way. Y&R’s back with new episodes during the week of August 10-14, so expect some fresh storylines to kick off. There’s a new story in the works for Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), so let’s talk about that.
Although Summer’s tried to ditch her old scheming self, it’s tough to shake who you are! We’ll see girls behaving badly in new Y&R episodes – namely Summer and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Phyllis will be busy with her own plots, but she’ll undoubtedly weigh in on Summer’s love life along the way.
Perhaps Phyllis will even steer Summer down this not-so-nice path she’s headed down again. Regardless, Summer will create problems – and those problems will likely affect Theo’s budding romance with Lola. However, we shouldn’t rule out another potential curveball that might not even be Summer’s fault.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say this new storyline will bring out a new side of Theo. We’ve already started to see Theo’s softer side with Lola and others around town. Theo was even able to call a truce with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and connect with her over their mothers’ illnesses.
In other words, Theo’s softer side isn’t really new, so what would be a new side of Theo? What about Theo as a father-to-be? Could Theo change for the better after learning he’s going to be a dad? A Lola pregnancy storyline could bring some exciting material for all the key players here.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Lola will gain a new perspective. She’ll find a different outlook regarding love and life as she knows it. That could line up with a baby bombshell, too. Lola had a pregnancy scare when she was married to Kyle, but she could easily wind up with a true bun in the oven.
Maybe Lola will sleep with Theo and eventually realize she’s having his child. That’s certainly the kind of thing that would give Lola a new perspective on life and love. Lola would be unsettled by the pregnancy news at first, but she might ultimately open up her heart to the possibility of a family with Theo.
As for Kyle, he might battle mixed feelings as Theo and Lola got serious. Kyle and Lola planned to have children of their own someday – at least they did back when they were together. Since Summer will be reverting to her previous bad behavior, it might even make Kyle wonder what might’ve happened if he’d stayed with Lola!
Having Lola get pregnant with Theo’s baby would bring a goldmine of drama. There’s no guarantee that’s the route Y&R will take, but it’d definitely be an entertaining one. As other details emerge, we’ll offer updates.
