The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that things will really start to heat up in the love quadrangle going on with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer Newman (Hunter King), Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle), and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson).
As Y&R viewers know, Summer and Kyle recently had a heart-to-heart on their Jabot trip San Francisco which culminated in the two sharing a passionate kiss.
And now, Kyle is questioning whether he’s really happy in his marriage to Lola. Of course, Y&R viewers have seen this coming on for a while now, as Kyle and Summer have been totally in sync at work and getting along great, while Kyle and Lola have been totally out of sync and just not connecting as they should be.
And then there’s been the influx of Theo into the equation. Theo and Lola have been hitting it off as friends and seem to share a camaraderie that Kyle and Lola just don’t have.
They have similar upbringings and backgrounds, and they’ve really connected recently. Of course, it doesn’t help that Kyle can’t stand Theo and doesn’t want him anywhere near Lola – that’s just been an extra layer of friction.
Well, unfortunately for Kola fans, the divide between Kyle and Lola is only going to widen in upcoming days. Specifically, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Kyle will soon give in to temptation where Summer is concerned, and that the two will sleep together.
Summer might just pull out all the stops now that she’s acknowledged to herself and to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that she’s still in love with Kyle and wants to see what could happen between them.
At any rate, things will really heat up between the exes, and presumably this will come after Kyle tells Lola about his kiss with Summer. One can imagine that Lola is going to hit the roof and be furious with both Kyle and Summer after that. But Y&R spoilers also indicate that she’ll turn to Theo for comfort, and that the two will share at least a kiss of their own.
All of this will lead to a huge relationship mess for the quad. Certainly, Kyle will still feel some serious animosity toward Theo when and if he learns about Theo and Lola’s kiss. Yet he’ll have just slept with Summer. It’s going to be a mess of high emotion and some things will have to get resolved in pretty short order – like what’s going to happen with Kola’s marriage.
One wonders if Kola will be able to work thing out – or if they’ll even want to work things out – after Kyle has slept with Summer and Lola has embarked on some level of intimacy with Theo.
One thing’s for sure, though, and that’s that it’s going to be pretty awkward around Jabot for a while. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is going to have a real situation on his hands!
