The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, October 19 – Chance’s Vegas History Blows Up – Abbotts Grieve Dina's Passing

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 19, tease that Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will get a tough reminder that you can’t always escape the past.

Y&R fans know Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) saved Chance’s life in Vegas, so Chance helped cover it up. That’d led to plenty of issues – including the job crisis Chance is facing right now.

Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) pointed out there was no hard evidence of anything, so he was optimistic about hiring Chance at the end of the Vegas inquiry.

However, Paul was careful to point out that it wasn’t a done deal. Chance made a strong case for why he should still be hired as the GCPD’s newest detective, but his career goals may be in more jeopardy than ever on Monday.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance’s history will come back to haunt him, so that probably means this Vegas drama will find a new way to blow up. The investigation will leave Chance facing some tricky questions – maybe even questions that could land him behind bars if he’s not careful.

It’s possible the missing man’s body will be found or at least some trace of it. Then again, there may be some other proof that surfaces and leaves Chance stuck in a grilling session. Whatever the case, Chance will be sweating it out as he gets interrogated on Monday’s Y&R episode.

In the meantime, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will cause concern for her parents. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) have been worried about everything Faith’s up against these days.

Faith was already struggling due to Sharon’s cancer crisis, so the baby switch details in the Adam article only added to her woes.

Although Faith’s been putting on a brave face, she’s checking out emotionally. It’s like Faith is becoming a bit numb, so that may be what Sharon and Nick pick up on.

The old Faith would be over the moon about Sharon’s latest news, which is that she’s on her way to becoming cancer free. Faith will surely be happy about that when she gets updates, but she could still wind up having a subdued reaction.

Part of Faith may not trust the results since much has been going wrong lately. Faith might worry that optimism will just set her up for more crushing disappointment.

Although Faith may fake enthusiasm as usual, it may become apparent to Nick and Sharon that their daughter’s just pretending she’s fine. Sharon and Nick will bond over their mutual worries as they wonder how to help Faith.

Over with the Abbotts, it’ll be time to mourn and reflect on some memories. Following Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) death on Friday, Monday’s episode will bring the aftermath.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will all have to grieve in their own ways.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Monday will deliver an action-packed show, so don’t miss it. CDL will have other gripping Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so be sure to stop by frequently.
