The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some tense confrontations are in store. During the week of December 28-January 1, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have a run-in with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Billy was ultimately cleared of attempted murder, but Adam will argue that Billy wouldn’t have gotten arrested if he weren’t so obsessed. From Adam’s perspective, it’ll be Billy’s own fault that he became a suspect.
Adam will also bump into Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), so they’ll rehash Sharon having Adam committed. After Adam assures Sharon there’s no need to worry about him, he’ll wish her the best on her upcoming wedding.
Sharon will also find out Adam’s leaving town with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), so she’ll suggest maybe that’s for the best.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will seem concerned about Sharon after he catches her intense moment with Adam, but she’ll assure Rey that she’s fine. Later, Sharon will do her best to act excited about her impending nuptials, but she’ll still seem to be battling nerves under the surface.
As for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll clash with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) before grilling Sharon about Adam.
The day before Sharon’s wedding, Nick will want to make sure his ex has put Adam behind her. That’ll probably never be true for Sharon, but she’ll offer an apology for the pain her connection to Adam has brought her family.
Nevertheless, Sharon will maintain that she’s over Adam and focused on Rey. As a way to calm some pre-wedding jitters, Sharon and Rey will go for a walk under the stars. It’ll soothe Sharon a bit before the big day finally arrives.
We’ll see plenty of pampering for Sharon thanks to everything Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) has planned for the bride.
Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) will arrive in time for the evening nuptials and will spend some time catching up with Abby Newman-Chancellor-Abbott (Melissa Ordway).
The Young and the Restless spoilers point to an unexpected wedding crasher, and according to a newly released promo Adam is that person!
Adam may will have a moment where he wonders what might’ve been or even considers stirring up trouble for Sharon and Rey. Sharon’s true love showing up at her wedding may very well spark an emergency situation.
The Young and the Restless spoilers revealed that Eve LaRue filmed an upcoming stint on the show, so it makes sense that Celeste will make it home in time to see Rey get married. There’ll be tons of drama, but it looks like Rey and Sharon may actually tie the knot.
Regardless of his wedding crasher role Adam’s attention will soon be on Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), who’ll have a major medical emergency on New Year’s Eve.
A paramedic will rush to the penthouse after Chelsea presumably keels over and loses consciousness. Chelsea will be hospitalized due to her brain aneurysm – and Adam’s sure to be torn up about it!
As for Phyllis, she’ll fail to get the incriminating thumb drive she wants from Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). Phyllis will have her heart set on blackmailing Victoria with that thumb drive, but she’ll go to her backup plan when Kevin puts up a fight on handing it over.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will lean on Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) for support.
Amanda will struggle with more birth mom revelations and need some comfort. It’ll set the stage for a cozy New Year’s Eve – and a chance for Devon to grow closer to Amanda.
Y&R will air an encore episode on Friday, January 1, but they’ll pick right back up with new action during the week of January 4-8. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will recover from a romantic blunder the previous week.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will apparently open her heart to Nate a bit more – or at least cave into her desire for him.
There’ll be some sizzle going on between Nate and Elena, but Devon will remain in the back of Elena’s mind. As for Sharon, she’ll eventually get updates on Chelsea’s hospitalization and worry about Adam. It’ll be tough for Sharon to stay away when Adam’s in pain, so that could cause issues with Rey.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll take charge of a situation – perhaps regarding Chelsea’s medical care. Victor knows that Adam needs his family with Chelsea, so he’ll do whatever he can to help.
Will Adam soften toward Victor due to this crisis and the assistance Victor offers? Regardless, Adam will face some dark times.
Finally, scheming Summer Newman (Hunter King) will prepare to make a dirty move. She’ll decide to kick her rivalry with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) up a notch by digging into her past. That’ll lead to more conflict down the road, so we’ll fill you in as other Y&R news emerges.
