The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview teases that Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) good deed will lead to a shocking revelation. Y&R fans know when Amanda initially showed up in town, she tried to downplay her resemblance to Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).
Of course, that was partly because Amanda was irritated by all the wide eyes and dropped jaws.
Amanda eventually came to accept that she does look and sound exactly like a dead woman she never met. Since Amanda doesn’t know anything about her biological roots, you’d think it’d be a no-brainer to dig into this.
Amanda opted to keep moving forward instead of looking back, but something’s about to happen that changes her mind!
That brings us to the good deed we mentioned – the one that’ll lead to a shocker. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will decide to donate blood at the clinic, which Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will certainly appreciate.
When Nate asks Amanda her blood type, she’ll respond that it’s B negative. That’ll throw Nate for a loop since that was Hilary’s blood type as well.
Nate may get Amanda to admit she’s got some unanswered questions here. Unless Amanda wants to keep wondering for the rest of her life, there’s only one thing to do: get a DNA test.
Nate will encourage Amanda to ask Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) for an old possession of Hilary’s – something they could get her DNA from.
Since Nate will know this is a huge step, he won’t be pushy about trying to talk Amanda into it. Nate will simply give Amanda a gentle nudge and contend that he’ll support her no matter what she decides.
Once Amanda contemplates the idea for a bit, she’ll meet with Devon and ask him a surprising question.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will want to know Hilary’s birthday. A confused Devon will wonder what this is about, so Amanda will explain the blood type bombshell.
Amanda will admit she doesn’t know her exact birthday since she was abandoned as a baby, so the authorities had to estimate – meaning it could be off by a day or two. However, their best guess was July 2.
That’ll blow Devon away since Hilary’s birthday was July 1. The evidence will start piling up, so Amanda will do what Nate suggested and present the DNA test idea.
Since this is a sensitive area for Devon, she’ll let him know it’s entirely up to him. Amanda and Devon will know there’s a strong possibility that she’s Hilary’s twin sister, but Devon has to hand over a DNA sample to get the proof.
