The Young and the Restless Spoilers Recap: Monday, August 10 - Victor Blasts Billy, Terrible Trouble Ahead - Adam Faces Enemy

The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Monday, August 10, tease that Y&R will return with an all-new episode. The action will start at Chancellor Communications, where Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will talk about the statue dedication to take place in Chancellor Park.

Together, Billy and Lily will plan to talk with the various Genoa City residents who attend about what they’ve been doing in the recent past.

Later, in the park, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be among the first to be interviewed by Lily. Nikki will think that Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) would be both amused and horrified to see Genoa City now.

Nikki will flash back to how Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was stabbed at the art exhibition and took so much time to recover. Lily will talk with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) next, recalling how strongly Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has battled cancer and how Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) has been her rock.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will also take a walk down memory lane with respect to Sharon, as she remembers Sharon giving her medical power of attorney and to how Sharon’s family has rallied around her during this time.

Victoria will be interviewed next, saying that it’s been wonderful to have strong women like Nikki and Katherine in her life as role models. Victoria will reminisce about her fight to remain as CEO of Newman Enterprises, and how Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) temporarily got the seat.

As all this is going on, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will emerge and confer with Nikki, who will warn him that Billy might be looking to dig into the Newman family business.

Victor will try to nip that in the bud, telling Billy to back off as he reminisces about Adam killing AJ Montalvo when he was a young boy. After Victor takes off, Adam will come along on a run only to get accosted by Billy.

Adam and Billy will argue, and Adam will ultimately leave, remembering how he proposed to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and was set up by Victor.

Soon, Lily and Billy will regroup, and they’ll rehash how they came to work at Chancellor Media together, with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) essentially forcing them together.

Lily will then see Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), and she’ll interview him about his memories of Katherine. Together, Lily and Devon will remember losing Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) last year and how Devon lost his entire fortune then got it back.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will be on hand as well, with Lily apologizing for not being more receptive toward Amanda when she first arrived in town. Amanda will also mention the new guy in her life, as she flashes back to some key scenes with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be up next, with some wonderful words to impart about Katherine.

Lily will ask Jack about Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams), with Jack noting that her later years haven’t gone as well as did Katherine’s. Jack will get melancholy as he thinks about the time he’s spent with Dina and his siblings at home.

Jack will say that Katherine taught him resilience and taking life as it comes. Jack will say that whatever’s to come for Genoa City will probably be unexpected and explosive.

Meanwhile, over at Sharon’s house, Rey will check in on Sharon. And over at Society, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Devon will talk about Katherine a bit. Devon will note that Katherine must have sent Elena to him, and that he’s very grateful.

Later, Lily and Billy will return to Chancellor Media, Billy will have the sneaking suspicion that something’s going on over at Newman Enterprises. Lily will say that Billy made a promise out to use their company to battle with the Newmans.

Billy will promise not to cause any problems. Finally, over at the Newman ranch, Victor will tell Nikki that he senses a feeling of foreboding, as if a storm is coming.
