The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Thursday, November 19, tease that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will speak briefly with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) at Crimson Lights before stepping on the patio with Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) for an update on the shooting case.
Paul will say that a single blue earbud was found at the crime scene, which the shooter may have dropped, and which is currently being tested for DNA.
Elsewhere in the coffeehouse, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will talk about Amanda’s dinner with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), as well as Lily’s romantic life.
Lily will say that she doesn’t want anything big or complicated right now – she already had that with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). Lily will think that Amanda’s dinner with Devon sounded perfect.
Meanwhile, over at the Grand Phoenix, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will talk via video call to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) about the wedding. Jill will happily agree to host the wedding at the Chancellor mansion, which will thrill Chance and Abby.
At Society, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will gripe to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about how Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) gave Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that contract to sign.
Nikki will defend Victoria, and she’ll say that Adam wanted to take them all out at Newman Tower. Victor will insist that Adam is an emotional wreck now, and that they all contributed to this.
Victor will go on, insinuating that things would have been better had Adam not remembered killing AJ Montalvo. Victor will say that Adam needs their help, and Nikki will ask how Victor plans to help Adam.
Elsewhere, in the lounge area, Abby will meet with Ashely Abbott (Eileen Davidson), who will learn that Abby and Chance are getting married next week. Ashley will think that Abby has chosen the right partner.
Back at Crimson Lights, Victor will amble in wanting to talk with Sharon about Adam. Sharon will protest, but Victor will say that Adam needs her help and that there’s no one else that Adam can talk to.
Over at Adam’s penthouse, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will arrive, and Adam will insist that he wants their family back. Chelsea will ask if Adam was trying to kill his family, and Adam will say that Victor was the only target.
Chelsea will point out how Adam pushed her away, and he’ll swear that won’t happen again and that they should leave Genoa City together and go someone else to live with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Chelsea will be softening when Adam’s phone rings, and Chelsea sees who’s calling. “Seriously?” Chelsea will fume. Adam will say that he doesn’t know why Sharon is calling him and that it doesn’t matter because Chelsea is the woman he loves. Chelsea will say that she needs time to think about this, and she’ll leave.
At Chancellor Communications, Paul and Rey will question Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about why he went to see Chance at the hospital after the shooting. Billy will insist that he’s not the shooter, and Paul will ask to look around the office.
Billy will say they need a warrant, and Paul will suavely whip out a warrant. In his search, Rey will find a single blue earbud, but Billy will have a very nonchalant reaction to it.
Later, Amanda and Lily will come in to learn from Billy that it’s time for him to get a lawyer. After some back and forth, they’ll determine that Amanda should represent Billy, and that Billy needs to step down temporarily from Chancellor Communications.
Amanda will take off, and Billy will tell Lilly that he’ll miss working with her and wondering when she’s going to kiss him again.
Back at the Grand Phoenix, Abby will return with takeout from Society, while Chance has ordered room service lunch. Abby will quip that with all this food, it’s a shame that she’s not eating for two. Abby and Chance will look forward to that day.
Over at the Chancellor mansion, Chelsea will return and text Connor, saying that she and Adam are working on coming to visit him sometime.
Back at Crimson Lights, Rey will regroup with Sharon, but he’ll notice that something’s off with her. Sharon will say that Victor was there and that he told her that Adam had been plotting against his family before the shooting. “Victor made a request, and I said yes,” Sharon will say.
At Adam’s penthouse, Victor will arrive to see Adam to tell him something in person. Victor will proceed to tell Adam that he needs professional help.
Adam will think it’s a little late for that, and Victor will say that he won’t watch Adam destroy himself. “You need help – don’t make this any harder than it already is,” Victor will say.
