The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) feels confident she can rise to the challenge and get rid of Summer Newman (Hunter King) at Fenmore’s.
All Sally has to do is push the right jealousy buttons when it comes to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Sally’s counting on making waves in Summer’s relationship and taking the reins as the head of JCV.
It seems like a great plan, but there’s someone who could stand in Sally’s way. Sally may be able to take on Summer, but can she take on Summer’s vicious mom? Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is a formidable foe for just about anyone and certainly knows how to scheme.
In fact, Phyllis has been plotting long enough that she could probably scheme circles around Sally!
Phyllis has years of experience carrying out sneaky plans, so she may have an advantage. Of course, Phyllis will also have the advantage of being riled up on her daughter’s behalf. That could be a huge motivator to take Sally down.
It probably won’t be long until Phyllis suspects Sally’s up to no good. That’s especially true if Summer goes to Phyllis and vents – and she most likely will! Summer only seems to turn to her mother when she has a problem. As luck would have it, Phyllis’ schedule may be opening up.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say a hotel battle resolution is on the horizon. Even if Phyllis finds other ways to clash with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), it seems The Grand Phoenix war will be a thing of the past soon.
That’ll free up some time for Phyllis to potentially focus on a different rival – one like Sally Spectra.
If you mess with Summer, then you mess with Phyllis! She’s not someone who accepts her baby girl getting hurt without a fight. Sally will be trying to wreck Summer’s professional life as well as her personal life.
It’s easy to see why Phyllis might go into fierce mama bear mode and become determined to protect her daughter.
