The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) appear to be heading toward remarriage. They see green lights ahead, especially because Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) created his own downfall and ouster at Jabot.
Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) left Genoa City, Wisconsin, and is currently back in Miami, Florida. The former Mrs. Abbott is overseeing the construction of her home-based restaurant and might not return. So, that part of Kyle’s past is likely no longer in the picture.
However, a surprise storyline could seal, or divert the seemingly destined reboot of this couple.

A mini history lesson would begin by offering that King has long played the grown up version of this character. This actor joined the cast in 2012.
A number of actors have played the SORAS’d edition of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and the late Diane Jenkins’ (as last played by Maura West) son. As devoted fans recall, Diane was killed by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) when Kyle was young in an act that was eventually deemed self-defense.
More recently, Summer returned to town after an extended absence. Her developed aggressive personality isn’t something Kyle liked and he turned to Lola. Summer used Lola’s need for a kidney transplant as a weapon, donating one of her organs in exchange for Kyle’s hand in marriage. He divorced King’s character shortly thereafter.
Kola later married. But Lola recently forced Kyle to admit that he never stopped loving Summer. That ended Kola’s month’s-old marriage and directly led to the Skyle reboot.

While Kola had its fans, it has become clear that Kyle and Summer seem more suited to each other. Their personal history and personality types are actually similar, which was understandably hard for fans of the likable Kola couple to digest considering the amount of time Y&R asked them to invest in a storyline that appeared to have years left.
But are Summer and Kyle so similar that they will eventually not be able to stand each other and then split again?
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Baby Skyle Anticipated
A baby should be an expression of love. There’s no doubt that Kyle and Summer will dramatically express every emotion that they feel leading into and then confirming the presumed pregnancy.
Summer, Junior, or Kyle, Junior, or even both via twins, feels like the natural progression of an arc that’s explored other topics over time. But pregnancy could either seal Skyle, or force the couple to split.
As Y&R fans know, the connection Skyle shares hasn’t prevented breakups in the past. So, the infinite significance of having a baby would create unpredictable results.
