The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that some scheming will go down on new Y&R episodes starting Monday, August 10. If you’re wondering what’s ahead for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer Newman (Hunter King), Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), we’ve got some hot details for you. These four have a new story coming up that’ll be packed full of drama.
For starters, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle’s love for Summer will be tested. That’ll probably be due to Summer falling back into old habits. Summer’s done her best to grow and change, but all that progress is about to fly right out the window.
At her core, Summer’s a schemer like her mother and will prove she’s a lot like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in this new storyline. Y&R fans can expect some behavior from that’s more in line with the old Summer we used to know – not the gentler one we’ve seen lately.
It sounds like Kyle will disapprove, so that’ll bring some “Skyle” conflict. Of course, we have to consider what will prompt this devious behavior. What would cause Summer to revert to her old ways?
Perhaps the show offered a hint when Kyle softened toward Theo while Summer stood her ground. Kyle battled regrets over getting Theo fired, but Summer continued to clash with her ex.
The Young and the Restless may keep Summer’s attitude and build on that. Y&R spoilers say fans will see a new side of Theo in the coming weeks. As for Lola, this storyline with Theo, Kyle and Summer will play a role in her new view of love and life in general.
Could Summer sabotage Theo’s blooming romance with Lola and upset Kyle in the process? Summer might justify it since Lola deserves better anyway, but Kyle may think Summer just needs to butt out! Regardless, these four characters will remain connected through the action that’s coming up.
