The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman (Hunter King) will find herself on Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) bad side down the road. It should come as quite a shock to Kyle, who appreciates the growth he’s seen in Summer.
Kyle and Summer are cruising right along as a happily reunited couple, but their bubble’s going to burst due to Summer’s scheming tendencies.
Y&R fans can expect Summer to resort to some tactics that Kyle disapproves of. Although Kyle’s crazy about Summer, this will certainly put a strain on their relationship. You can only bend something so far until it breaks!
As Kyle’s pushed to his limit, will he have second thoughts about getting back together with Summer? That probably depends on the consequences of Summer’s actions.
The Young and the Restless spoilers point to behavior that’s awfully reminiscent of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Summer will do some things that are pretty in line with what her mother would do.
Of course, that could mean anything since Phyllis is such a wildcard. How horrible are we talking here? If Summer’s plot is something like Phyllis planting bones, that’s harmless enough.
However, Phyllis has done far worse things – things that are far from harmless! Kyle may wonder if Summer’s really the person he thought she was if she crosses major lines.
Will Kyle be tempted to break up with Summer? If so, Summer and Kyle might need something to help them salvage their relationship. Perhaps a major curveball could help Kyle forgive Summer and put their relationship back on track.
This might be a good time for Y&R to drop a “Skyle” baby bomb. It’s easy to imagine Kyle being so furious that he dumps Summer or at least comes close. It’s just as easy to imagine Summer blurting out that she’s pregnant and changing Kyle’s mind. Kyle would want to keep their family intact if at all possible.
Babies often help soap couples repair the damage and serve as a new beginning. They also force some characters to grow up fast. A baby might convince Summer to finally put her schemes behind her.
Summer might determine that she doesn’t have to stay in a state of arrested development like Phyllis. There’s still hope for Summer to get back on the right path – and a baby could be the starting point for that.
In the meantime, Summer’s plot will likely affect Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer’s sneakiness could do some serious “Skyle” damage, so we’ll see if a baby might pave the way for forgiveness eventually.
