The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, August 27, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will find her own way to Kansas – and she’ll be shocked by what she discovers when she arrives! It sounds like Chelsea will walk in on a truly stunning scene at the farmhouse.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) remembers killing AJ Montalvo in Wednesday’s episode just before Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) arrives. That means Sharon will have to help Adam work through this on Thursday. What exactly will Chelsea walk in on? Just how much will Sharon “help” Adam?
It’s possible Chelsea will find Adam crying in Sharon’s arms – perhaps being broken and vulnerable with Sharon in a way he couldn’t be with Chelsea. To be fair, Adam’s just now recalled exactly what happened.
He needs someone to lean on and Sharon intends to be there for him. It’s reasonable that Sharon would comfort Adam under the circumstances.
Even so, Chelsea might be unnerved by the sight of Adam and Sharon looking so cozy. There’s even a chance Y&R will take this a step further and have Adam lock lips with Sharon. That’d most definitely be crossing a line, so you can bet Chelsea’s rage would erupt.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will also be in town with Sharon, so he should get in the mix eventually. It looks like Thursday’s episode will pack in plenty of emotional distress and conflict, so don’t miss all the action!
In the meantime, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a warning to pass along. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will meet up with Victor and might scoff at all this childhood trauma stuff. Nick may not think Adam’s as weak and needy as he’s got Victor believing.
The topic of Sharon flying to Kansas should come up as well, so Nick will certainly object to that. He feels like Adam’s adding to Sharon’s stress when she’s already trying to deal with her cancer fight.
Nevertheless, Victor will stand by his claims that Adam needs help – more help than his father or wife can offer. Sharon is a professional and will know how to handle Adam’s tough battle ahead.
As for Nick, Victor may warn him not to interfere or cause additional problems for Adam. Although Victor won’t expect Nick to be there for Adam as a brother, he at least won’t want him to make matters worse.
Victor may also touch on everything that’s happening with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at Newman Enterprises, so we’ll see if Vic has a warning about that, too.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will test Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) work ethic. Billy’s a free spirit who doesn’t like being bogged down by too much at the office – at least that’s how Billy’s felt in the past.
Lily may push Billy with a tougher workload now that they’ve acquired Newman’s media division.
This could bring an opportunity for another quarrel or two, but Billy should rise to Lily’s challenge. We’ll provide updates as other Y&R news comes in. The Young and the Restless spoilers say another fantastic episode’s on the way, so keep watching.
