The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 14, tease that viewers will see an encore episode that originally aired on March 31, 2005, and is part of a week dedicated to the Baldwin/Fisher family. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will arrive home and barely stop Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) from calling Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman). Michael will explain that Ashley Abbott Carlton (Eileen Davidson) gave Gloria a difficult ultimatum.
Kevin will say that he wants to get to know John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), and Michael will say that Kevin is crazy, and that there’s no chance that John will ever forgive Gloria when he finds out what she did. Michael will tell Kevin not to go see Gloria and John. Elsewhere, Gloria will be explaining to John that the two boys that John met weren’t her sons. John will be stunned.
Gloria will go on, saying that she didn’t want John to know the truth about her real sons. John will be upset that Gloria deliberately lied to him, and he’ll want the truth about who her sons are.
Gloria will shock John by saying that he already knows her sons. Just then, Kevin will show up at the door, but John will tell him to leave, then he’ll wonder why Kevin is there to see Gloria. Gloria will dramatically disclose to John that Kevin is her son.
In other matters, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will go to see Ashley, who will be worried about John. Paul will offer his help if Ashley needs him. Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Damon Porter (Keith Hamilton Cobb) will see “Adrienne.”
Adrienne will be all ruffled because she hasn’t seen Damon in weeks, and she’ll threaten to leave town. Damon will reassure Adrienne and promise to see her again soon.
Over with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll tell Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) that he’s too busy to talk with Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) right now. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will overhear Sharon say that she’s concerned about Cassie, and she’ll question Sharon about it. Sharon won’t want to talk about it, and Nikki will press the issue, saying that if something’s up with Cassie, she needs to know.
Later, Nick will summon Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to his office, and he’ll confront her with the email she wrote, saying that he knows that she wrote it. Nick won’t want to fire Phyllis, but he will want to know if she’s in his corner.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also pay Nick a visit, and he’ll express his displeasure with Nick’s decision to extend an executive contract to Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell). Nick won’t like his father questioning his judgment.
At Jabot, Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) will give Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) a big ultimatum. Brad will announce that he’s seriously looking at other executive positions, and that if he doesn’t get offered the CEO position at Jabot by tomorrow, then he’ll leave Jabot permanently.
Finally, Jack will head to Phyllis’ place, where he’ll get Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) to help him prepare dinner for Phyllis. Daniel won’t be too keen on helping once he finds out that Phyllis is angry at Jack, but Jack will persuade him to help.
Once Phyllis arrives, she’ll wonder what Jack is doing in her kitchen, and she’ll quip that perhaps he’s planning on poisoning her.
