The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 3, teases that a heated confrontation will go down at Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) apartment. As Lindsay (Kirby Bliss Blanton) sits on the sofa, Mariah will wonder what Tessa’s doing there. Tessa will remind Mariah that she lives there and thought she’d surprise her, so…surprise!
When Tessa asks Lindsay about her visit, Mariah will insist Lindsay doesn’t owe her any explanations. Tessa will admit that’s true, but she’ll point out Mariah does owe her one.
Mariah will suggest she figured Tessa would be off making beautiful music with her rockstar boyfriend, Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman). She’ll yell about Tanner answering her calls and being shirtless on their video chat.
Tessa will fire back that Mariah should ask if she wants to know something, not act like a jealous brat! Mariah will demand to know if Tessa slept with Tanner, but Tessa will firmly tell her no – NEVER.
She’ll turn the question back on a flustered Mariah, who’ll lie that she didn’t sleep with Lindsay either. Tessa won’t think the evidence works in Mariah’s favor, so she’ll snatch up her suitcase handle and storm out.
Once Tessa’s gone, Mariah will be in panic mode. Lindsay will insist she’s a big girl and didn’t expect this to be more than it was: Mariah needing a friend to make her feel wanted and special. Lindsay will assure Mariah that she can fix her mistake, but Mariah won’t be so certain. She’ll wonder how Tessa’s ever going to trust her again.
At Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) place, she’ll battle more nausea and fatigue. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will support Sharon as she worries about her next round of chemo possibly being cancelled.
Once Rey gets a work call, Sharon will encourage him to go handle police business. That’ll leave Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) to keep her mom company.
Faith will briefly make Sharon’s nausea worse by talking about gross food, but Sharon will insist it’s fine. Soon after, Mariah will appear and subtly try to send Faith upstairs for homework. Once Mariah’s alone with Sharon, she’ll admit her life is one enormous dumpster fire – and she lit the match.
Mariah will talk to Sharon about how she assumed Tessa was busy hooking up with Tanner and moving on without her. Sharon will suggest that Tessa should’ve been clearer about things considering what Mariah’s been up against.
However, Mariah will admit she never told Tessa about Sharon’s breast cancer. She kept meaning to, but Tanner always seemed to interrupt.
Mariah will realize she has to be the one to save the relationship. She’ll wonder how to fix this, but Sharon will suggest Mariah already knows the answer. Faith will return downstairs as the thunder outside revs up.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) will return home to see Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). She’ll greet him at the ranch before he gets upset over Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Reed will wonder how Billy could let something like this happen, especially after everything Victoria had to deal with from J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill).
Next, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that he’s made a decision about Newman Enterprises. Victor will feel like he has no choice but to put Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on the throne.
Nick will wish Victor luck with that before exiting. As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll question Victor about Adam’s trustworthiness.
In the meantime, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will give Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) updates on Ripley Turner’s (Christian Keyes) arrest. Phyllis will do her best to comfort a traumatized Amanda and assure her of her safety.
At Crimson Lights, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will discuss the ice storm that’s rolling in. After Elena whips out the key to the new clinic, she’ll be excited for Devon to see it.
Afterward, Amanda will walk in and receive some kind words about the Ripley situation. She’ll also let Devon know she’s pleased Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) returned his fortune.
Once Devon offers to score some office space for Amanda, she’ll want to hold off on that. Amanda won’t be ready to make any big decisions about her future right now.
At Society, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will reassure Adam, who’ll be in a funk over Victor not accepting his offer yet. Adam will be surprised when Victor suddenly calls and summons him to the ranch for a meeting.
After Adam shows up with Chelsea, he’ll wonder what it’s going to take to prove his loyalty. A huge tree will crash down on the property, so Adam will suggest they’ve got this whole stormy night to hash things out. Back with Elena and Devon, they’ll wind up stuck at the new clinic with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Other Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will pop over to Nick’s place. She’ll have takeout, but Nick will think they need to talk about that kiss at the gala. When Nick insists this can’t happen again, Phyllis will think Nick should get over himself. As the full owner of the Grand Phoenix, Phyllis will claim she’s there to talk about expansion plans.
After Nick irritates Phyllis over her sneaky tactics, she’ll start to take off. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will return moments later with some risky news: The roads are too icy, so she’ll be sticking around.
