The Young and the Restless spoilers tease an intriguing set of scenarios that also might be connected. Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico), or the widow of the man Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) accidentally killed in Las Vegas, Nevada, took the shot that actually hit Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz).
However, a past unseen plot point is also worth considering. Viewers recall that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was working with Alyssa to uncover evidence of Adam’s misdeeds.
As part of that effort she made contact with the widow of the man that Adam said he killed during an act of self-defense in Vegas. So, it’s also possible that both ladies are working together.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Shooter Needs To Be Written Out
If Billy really was guilty he would eventually be arrested, charged, jailed, and convicted. His attempted murder charge alone would send him to the big house for many years.
As Billy is a main character and there’s no available information about Thompson leaving the cast, this option seems highly unlikely, if not impossible. So, Billy must be telling the truth and is being framed.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Alyssa Montalvo Has An Axe To Grind
Alyssa uncovered evidence in Kansas that led to her learning her childhood friend, Adam (played as his younger self by Dane West), killed her father in a form of defense of his mother, Hope Wilson (played in her younger days by Maggie Gwin). He was only eleven-years-old at the time, but that isn’t the issue.
Adam used Alyssa to dig dirt that he thought represented a hammer that could be used to topple Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). That plan went south when it was learned that Adam, not Victor, was responsible for A.J. Montalvo’s (Marcus DeAnda) death.
Alyssa left town many weeks ago and apparently hasn’t been heard from since. She has come to hate Adam and could surely be written as the shooter, with the Billy setup created as a way for her to escape justice.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Las Vegas Rage Touches GC?
Adam told Chance to stay calm, believing that he had the Vegas issue handled. The woman who was married to the man Adam killed was told that her husband was in the Witness Protection Program. She was paid a healthy monthly stipend as part of that ruse as well.
But viewers learned about Alyssa’s contact with the widow awhile ago and then that part of the storyline was left hanging. So, that lady could be behind the shooting and the setup, unless she and Alyssa teamed up to commit these crimes.
