The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Cooks Up Paternity Proof, Shoves CEO Adam Out – Blood Newman Only Clause?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) scheme will won’t go according to plan. Y&R fans know Adam has been plotting to get the upper hand, and he indeed got it with Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) assistance. Adam now has proof that Victor murdered AJ Montalvo – and that proof will allow him to take back the Newman CEO spot.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Adam will keep the coveted chair for long! During the week of April 13-17, Victor will deliver a stern ultimatum. After Adam takes over at Newman Enterprises, he may take too many risks and show off his new power. The family will also be in an uproar, so that may convince Victor that this ultimatum needs to happen.

Will Victor insist Adam had better back down or face the consequences? If so, Adam wouldn’t be scared of a threat like that. Thanks to this murder evidence, Adam will feel like he can do anything he wants. Since Adam could send Victor to prison, he won’t think his father’s going to cross him.

However, perhaps there’s a way for Victor to take down Adam without landing himself behind bars. Victor will want to push Adam out of the Newman Enterprises and keep him away from the family. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will do something drastic to make sure that happens.

What’s a drastic move that wouldn’t result in incarceration for Victor? A fake paternity bomb! Back when Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) tried to wrestle Jabot control away from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Y&R randomly invented a blood-Abbott clause. It’s easy to imagine the show going for a similar storyline here.

Maybe Victor will reveal a blood-Newman clause and offer “proof” that Adam isn’t one. In other words, Victor may cook up some phony evidence to convince Adam that he isn’t really a Newman. It fits perfectly with this story, which is all about proving Adam’s just like his father.

Adam wants to show Victor he’s more like his dad than the rest of his siblings. It’d be a tough blow for Adam to think he’s not Victor’s son at all. This would be a drastic decision on Victor’s part, which lines up with Young and the Restless spoilers. It would also be a way to shove Adam out of the picture without the murder truth coming out.

Adam might decide fair is fair. If he thinks he’s not a Newman, Adam’s whole world will be turned upside down anyway. There’ll be no point to Adam’s grudge against Victor or his pursuit of the Newman CEO seat.

Adam may ditch his plans and let this potential blood-Newman clause stand. It could convince Adam to drop the war entirely, which is what Victor would have in mind.

As other Y&R news emerges, stick with us for more updates. Do you think Victor will kick Adam off the throne with a blood-Newman clause? Will Victor reveal that Adam isn’t his biological son and offer bogus evidence? CDL will have some great Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news as this storyline heats up.
