The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that viewers are in for a big confrontation when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) visits Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) as Billy sits in jail.
The new Y&R promo for the week of December 14 is out, and it’s all about Victor’s gloat fest as he berates Billy and tells him that he’s right where he deserves to be – wearing an orange jumpsuit in jail.
Well, this is all going to come about after Billy gets himself arrested…again.
According to Y&R spoilers, Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will track down the secret witness who can place Billy at the scene of Chance Chancellor’s (Justin Gaston) shooting, and that witness will be Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) of all people.
That will shock Billy, since he will have thought that he and Alyssa were on the same side and squarely against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Unfortunately for Billy, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will come along as Billy’s trying to talk with Alyssa, and that will lead to Billy’s arrest for violating the terms of his bail from his first arrest.
The Young and the Restless spoilers let us know that Billy will eventually manage to get out of jail again, but not right away. Billy will have some time to sit in jail, where Y&R spoilers say that he’ll contemplate his life and think about the consequences of his many screw-ups on his family and friends.
But something else will befall Billy while he’s sitting captive in jail – he’ll get a visit from Victor, who will be pleased as punch that Billy is finally getting punished after all the things he’s done.
“You didn’t think you were going to get off this easy, did you?” Victor muses in the promo. “You set me up! You set me up!!” Billy yells from his jail cell, pointing at The Moustache angrily.
“This is it huh, this is your payback?” Billy fumes at Victor. “I’m just happy you’re where you deserve to be,” Victor says. “You thought you had a future, it’s right here. You caused so much damage. You’ve hurt my daughter, you’re hurting my grandchildren,” Victor tells Billy, noting that Billy is right where he deserves to be.
Of course, we should point out that just because Victor is gloating doesn’t mean that he’s necessarily the person who has set Billy up. Sure, Victor’s happy to see Billy behind bars, but someone else – like Alyssa herself – could easily be setting Billy up.
It’s not too much of a stretch to think that Alyssa could have stolen Billy’s gun from Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) house and perpetrated this crime.
Whatever the case, it looks like Billy is convinced, at least for the time being, that Victor’s behind his set up. We’ll see what direction that leads Billy and Lily in during the coming week as they continue to investigate this case. Something tells us that there’s a big twist coming!
