The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) relationship with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will continue to deepen. Billy thinks something about this romance feels different. He trusts Lily and can really let his guard down with her.
Billy also feels like Lily believes in him and that matters more than she knows. Lily went the extra mile to prove Billy’s innocence during the shooter mystery, so Billy knows what a special gal she is.
Lily has even proven she’s willing to put Billy’s kids first – like when she insisted on skipping the New Orleans trip to ensure Billy would be there for Christmas.
Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) will inevitably become a bigger part of this storyline as time goes on.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will battle concerns in 2021 – and they’ll revolve around how Billy’s romance with Lily affects her children.
As Billy grows closer to Lily, he’ll want her to hang out with Johnny and Katie. Lily could potentially be Katie and Johnny’s stepmom one day, so it’s important for the kids to get to know her. The four of them may do some fun activities together and start to bond.
It’s easy to imagine Johnny and Katie gushing to Victoria about having a great time with Daddy and Lily. The kids might even beg to hang out with Lily more often or prefer some activity she’s chosen over one Victoria picked.
For example, Katie and Johnny might whine about wanting to see a movie with Lily instead of an art exhibit with Victoria or something along those lines.
In Victoria’s mind, she may feel like she’s being replaced. Victoria could view herself as an outsider once Lily, Billy, Johnny and Katie form their own little family unit.
Of course, people have blended families all the time and make it work. Billy may remind Victoria of that, but there are bound to be plenty of issues. Victoria obviously has lingering feelings for Billy, so she’ll have double the reasons to be jealous if she feels like Lily’s connecting with the kids, too.
From Victoria’s perspective, it may feel like Lily’s trying to steal the Mommy spot and the family she has with Billy! We’ll bring you updates as other Y&R news rolls in.
