The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 15, teases that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will lash out at Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). At Crimson Lights, Sharon will get upset over Mariah refilling the flower vases. After Sharon insists she’s more than capable, she’ll accidentally break one and realize she overreacted.
Sharon will apologize for doing dumb things to convince herself she’s not helpless. Y&R spoilers say Mariah will reassure Sharon and offer a warm hug. Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will rip into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). At Newman Enterprises, Nick will doubt that Adam’s story is true, but Adam will think the fact that he’s in the CEO chair proves it.
Adam will argue that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) caved for one reason: because he’s a murderer. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will blast Adam for always taking, but Adam will think his brother’s a fraud. Nick only stands with his family when it suits his own agenda.
As Adam and Nick’s fight escalates, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will rush in and try to shut it down. Chelsea will suggest Nick should be grateful to Adam for keeping Victor out of prison. Nick certainly won’t think a blackmail plot is something to express gratitude over.
Nick will wonder if Chelsea wants Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to turn out like his dad, which will add to the conflict. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will make it clear that he’s going to fight back. Despite Adam’s insistence that Victor’s guilty, Nick just won’t think he can believe anything that comes from Adam.
After Nick’s gone, Adam will let Chelsea know he’s glad to have her in his corner. Chelsea will suggest that the rest of the family can’t see how difficult it’s been for Adam. Nick obviously doesn’t believe Adam’s a positive influence on Connor, but Adam will disagree. He’ll feel like he’s a man his son can be proud of.
At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will catch up with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). Once they discuss Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), talk will turn to business. Jack will think Traci should accept the position she was offered at Chancellor Media. After Jack leaves, Traci will seem deep in thought.
At Society, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will catch a glimpse of Kyle and Summer Newman (Hunter King) kissing. When a phone call comes in, Lola will be taken aback over some troubling news.
At Jabot, Theo will suggest he has a task for Kendra. When Kendra tries to take notes during Kyle and Summer’s private meeting, Kyle will get rid of her.
Back at Society, Theo will greet Lola and get updates on that upsetting phone call. It turns out there’s an issue at Lola’s Miami restaurant, so she’ll have to leave town and go handle it. Theo will act all cool and confident about his upcoming pitch, but his face will tell a different story when they embrace. Theo’s nerves will be starting to get to him.
Next, Theo will text Kendra and urge her to step up her game. He’ll be determined to find out what Summer and Kyle are working on. Over with Summer, she’ll tell Kyle that she thinks Kendra is a spy for Theo.
Summer will think they need to set a trap, so they’ll put something together on the laptop and talk loudly about it. Kendra will hear about this “Grand Slam” pitch being available on the server.
Once Kendra calls Theo with the server password, she’ll insist all Kyle and Summer’s work is on there. Theo will log on and help himself to what “Skyle” planted for him to find. Back with Kyle and Summer, they’ll celebrate their victory in advance with a toast.
When Kyle asks if she thinks the rat will take the cheese, Summer will insist she’s counting on it.
At Crimson Lights again, Jack will see how Sharon’s doing. Sharon will admit her chemo was unsuccessful, so she’s facing surgery soon. After Jack offers his support, Nick will appear. Y&R spoilers say Nick and Jack will avoid dragging Sharon down with their problems. They’ll privately discuss Adam’s takeover as well as Theo and Kyle’s battle.
