The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 26, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be in a tight spot. Y&R fans know Victor and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) have been on the same page lately. Since they both want to help Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Chelsea’s found a place of peace and understanding with his father.
However, Victor will soon make a move that Chelsea views as a betrayal. When Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) asks for Victor’s private jet so she can follow Adam, Victor will decide to let her take it.
Sharon will be convinced that Adam must’ve flown to Kansas in hopes of jogging his memory. Adam’s on the verge of remembering the full story of what happened to AJ Montalvo that night.
Of course, Adam’s going to need some help to process things if that final memory clicks into place – the one where he attacked AJ and caused his death. Victor will just want what’s best for Adam, so he’ll grant Sharon’s request regarding the jet.
After Chelsea shows up at the ranch, she’ll want that same jet for her own use – except she’ll plan to fly to Vegas. Chelsea will assume Adam’s taking a breather in Sin City, but Victor will clarify that Sharon thinks Adam went back to the farm.
It’ll infuriate Chelsea when she realizes Sharon went behind her back to ask for the jet. Chelsea won’t be pleased that Victor allowed Sharon to take it either.
As far as Chelsea’s concerned, she should be the one serving as Adam’s main support. When Chelsea calls for the jet to be turned around, it seems Victor will refuse to contact his pilot. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will have to find an alternative strategy, so she’ll make her own travel arrangements and head for Kansas.
In the meantime, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will endure a test – one that Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) puts him through. That could be something fun like taste-testing Lola’s new menu, which she alluded to recently. However, this could also bring a different sort of test if Lola and Theo dive deep enough.
Lola’s growing closer to Theo, but she’s also trying to protect her heart. If Lola’s truly going to move forward with Theo and make this a real relationship, she has to trust him enough to do that. Perhaps Wednesday’s Y&R episode will serve as a way to keep building that trust between them.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will make a significant choice. It looks like Summer will drop his stunning decision on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) during their upcoming picnic. After watching Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) escape plan come together, Summer might decide she’d prefer a new career path.
Summer will admit she could be happier, so that could lead to a conversation with Kyle about leaving Jabot – or at least one about adjusting her duties there. Kyle’s a good listener, so he’ll give Summer his full attention and try to help her find the true happiness she seeks.
Unfortunately, some “Skyle” drama’s looming – and this could easily be the first sign of trouble. If Summer’s already getting a bit restless, it could set up the scheming that we know is coming. As other updates come in, we’ll keep you posted on all the latest news.
