The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for August 17- 21 tease that we’ll see some sneaky plans and bold announcements. First, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get in touch with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). The Newmans and Abbotts have certainly clashed in the past, but Victoria will think this is one time when an alliance is needed.
Victoria will make a pitch and convince Jack to team up with her. As for the rest of the Newman family, they’ll be left in the dark on Victoria’s intentions. Victoria will like the idea of being in control here – especially since it means Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have to squirm a bit.
Speaking of Adam, he’ll get stuck in some conflict. After Sharon agrees to be his therapist, she’ll want Adam to get Chelsea’s blessing before they move forward. Unfortunately, Chelsea’s blessing won’t be so easy to get! Chelsea will battle some anger when she hears that Sharon’s considering this.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will have her own plan to help Adam – one that includes Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Chelsea and Adam will join forces on a strategy, so Chelsea may feel like Sharon will get in the way if she brings Adam’s old memories to the surface.
Y&R fans can eventually expect Chelsea to corner Sharon and blast her over the situation. Chelsea will push for answers, so some conflict’s coming up. This isn’t something Sharon needs to be dealing with in her condition, but she’ll probably try to hide how weak she is.
As for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), he’ll remain Sharon’s fierce protector. In fact, Rey will be more protective than ever once he realizes Adam has turned to Sharon for help. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam’s motives will be called into question, so it sounds like a Rey and Adam confrontation is looming.
Back with Victoria, she’ll determine that publicly exposing Adam’s secret is what’s best – at least it’s what’s best for Victoria! A big press conference is ahead to announce Victoria’s return to the Newman throne, but she might take the opportunity to expose Adam’s deadly childhood secret, too.
Jack, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will all get caught up in this drama, so some explosive scenes are on the way. As for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll make peace with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson).
Theo will also spend some time with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), who’ll slowly start to drop her guard.
As for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), she’ll receive word about Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) new business venture and take steps to learn more. However, Phyllis just might be a step ahead of the game.
Billy will push Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to be a risk-taker as well, so that should bring some interesting moments between them.
Finally, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have a warning for Kyle. As Summer and Kyle’s relationship deepens, Nick may insist his daughter had better not get hurt again.
Sadly, it may be Summer who Nick really needs to worry about in this scenario. Summer will do some scheming down the road, so Nick had better brace himself for more trouble.
