The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of February 17-21 tease that some stunning moments are coming up. Of course, many of them will come courtesy of a big shindig in Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) honor. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has been planning a gala for Newman Enterprises’ 50th anniversary, but she mainly wants this to be a celebration of Victor.
Y&R fans can expect a special tribute to Eric Braeden as part of this gala. There’ll be loads of flashbacks since this event is really to celebrate Braeden’s 40th anniversary with the show.
The gala will kick off on Tuesday, February 18. The Young and the Restless spoilers say this tribute will air on Wednesday, February 19, but there’ll be one more day of partying. The gala won’t wrap up until Thursday, February 20.
If you’re hoping for some exciting returns, you’re in luck! Robert Adamson will reprise the role of Noah Newman, which is great since he can attend the gala and check in with his mom, too. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, so she could use a supportive visit with her son.
Meg Bennett will also return to the role of Julia Newman, Victor’s first wife. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor’s brother, Matt Miller (Robert Parucha), will also make an appearance for this gala.
It sounds like Y&R intends to do it up right! There’ll be several heartwarming speeches and a fun surprise from Nikki to the love of her life.
Of course, there’ll be some conflict and shockers at this event. Would it really be a Newman event without a good dose of drama? Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will end up getting into a heated argument with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) at the party.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will take in the scene before Abby decides she’s done dealing with Phyllis and saunters off.
Next, Nick will tease Phyllis about whatever’s going on. He won’t know what it is, but he’ll assume it’s Phyllis’ fault. However, things will eventually take a passionate turn. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will grab Nick and lean in for a steamy kiss, but he won’t hate the idea.
This could inch Phyllis and Nick closer to their inevitable reunion, but let’s talk about some other Newman surprises. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will make a move that leaves Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) floored.
Will that be something fun like a marriage proposal or something negative like a hint about his awful Vegas secret? Regardless, Chelsea will have a lot to process.
Over with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), trouble will head her way. Unfortunately, it’ll find Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as well – and the results won’t be pretty. We’ve got some updates and they point to terrible news for Victoria.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say a Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes)-related incident will unfold. It’ll leave Victoria bloody and hospitalized after Riley stabs her with a knife, so the Newmans will gather in the waiting area as Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) investigates.
An angry Victor will assure Paul that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is just as much to blame as Ripley. He’ll think Billy’s responsible for putting Ripley in his daughter’s orbit. This certainly isn’t how Victor wanted to cap off his celebration, but you can bet he’ll set to it that justice is served.
