The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of June 1 Preview – ‘The Abbott Family Week’ – Traci & Brad’s Wedding – John’s Funeral

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of June 1-5 teases that another fantastic theme is in store as classic episodes continue. This time Y&R’s all about the Abbotts! “The Abbott Family Week” will deliver some memorable moments that are sure to delight longtime fans.

For starters, The Young and the Restless will re-air an episode from back in 1991. Y&R’s weekly promo shows an adorably young Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) saying “Brad and I are about to become husband and wife again.” John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) walks his daughter down the aisle – and Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) can be seen sharing a sweet dance with his bride.

John also regains control of Jabot in a 1999 episode, which leaves Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) hopeful about the success of the company. In another 2001 classic, Jack asks Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to marry him while Traci and Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) tension boils over!

John’s funeral will also be shown in the week ahead, so many viewers will want to tune in for that 2006 encore. In this throwback, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) try to help Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman) fight for a spot among the mourning Abbotts.

The Young and the Restless weekly preview video shows Jack saying, “I am proud to carry my father’s name and to protect what he valued most: the Abbott family.” Jack has certainly carried on John’s legacy and cares about his loved ones just as his dad did. John’s death was a tough blow, but it brought some emotional material that’s worth revisiting.

Finally, The Young and the Restless spoilers say the week will wrap up with a more recent classic. Y&R will re-air 2019’s Christmas Eve episode, which featured Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) giving her family a heartwarming reminder of the holiday spirit.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) also gushes about feeling inspired before sharing a tender first Christmas at home with his wife. Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) is no longer with Kyle, but the fun part of these classics is looking back and remembering the scenes that got us to the present!

As other Y&R news becomes available, we’ll keep you posted on the latest updates. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some great stuff’s coming up, so stay tuned. CDL’s your go-to source for exciting Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news posts.
