The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of November 23-27 tease that we’ll see some bold moves and big celebrations. For starters, we should point out that due to Donny Boaz’s (Chance Chancellor) COVID-19 diagnosis, he had to step away from filming and spend some time in quarantine.
Although Boaz is back on set now, we’ll see Justin Gaston (ex-Ben Rogers on Days) in the role for a bit. Gaston is a former soap actor and Melissa Ordway’s (Abby Newman) real-life husband, so he was the ideal temporary recast for Chance.
Abby will face a difficult decision in the week ahead, so that’ll probably tie in with the rushed wedding plans. There’ll be a lot to figure out as Abby prepares to marry Chance at the Chancellor mansion. One tough choice for Abby may be her wedding dress, but we’re sure she’ll pick out something lovely.
In the meantime, let’s talk about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and some infuriating news. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will get slapped with a lawsuit from Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). Theo will formally challenge Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) will, so his revenge plot will enrage Jack.
As for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he’ll battle more legal woes and fear he’ll go down for the recent shooting. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will rush to Billy’s defense, so any suspicious GC residents should get an earful.
Lily will also be busy with a Thanksgiving plot, so look for her to trick Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) into getting together for the holiday.
Y&R spoilers say Lily will hope for family peace, even if it’s just for this one day. Nate and Devon will really be put to the test when Lily has to leave unexpectedly. It’ll be interesting to see if Devon and Nate lose their cool without Lily around to control them.
Over with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), she’ll get put on full blast. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) won’t be happy about Sharon’s role in having Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) committed.
Adam will be hauled off to Fairview due to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan and Sharon’s cooperation, so that’ll leave Chelsea irate and looking for answers.
Adam will certainly be incensed as well, so he’ll lash out as his doctors and make matters worse for himself. Victor will pay Adam a visit once he’s locked up in Fairview, which will bring some tense moments between this desperate father and his son.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will want Adam to accept the help he’s being given. He’ll think Adam should trust Sharon’s opinion since she signed off.
Naturally, Adam may feel like Victor manipulated Sharon into this. Although Adam will be furious with Sharon, Victor may get most of the blame.
Later, Sharon will turn her attention to a Thanksgiving tradition. Y&R fans know Sharon hosts an annual event to feed the homeless at Crimson Lights, so Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and other helpful characters will pitch in.
It looks like Summer Newman (Hunter King) will be in charge of pie at a different Thanksgiving gathering. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will change her mind about something, so we’ll see if that affects her future with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Let’s hope Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will find somewhere to celebrate this holiday of gratitude. She’s a long way from Los Angeles, but Genoa City is feeling more like home every day!
We should note that GC’s Thanksgiving festivities will play out on Wednesday, November 25. There’ll be a sports preemption on Thursday, November 26, and you can catch a classic episode on Friday, November 27.
As other Y&R updates roll in, we’ll keep bringing you the latest details. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some great stuff’s coming up on the CBS soap. CDL will have lots of other fantastic Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news to pass along, so visit again soon.
